Do You Embrace The Lost?

romans 6 23

Have a Wonderful And Blessed Monday!!! Embrace The Lost!!!
DO YOU TRULY CARE ABOUT PEOPLE WITHOUT CHRIST?

Your neighbors, your friends, your relatives; do you really care about them and do you really care that they don’t know Jesus Christ? For all of us who are born again Christians, do we give a thought to those around us? If we would see someones house on fire we would definitely call for help, maybe even run in and yell to the people in there to get out. Well without Jesus Christ as their Savior when they die they will spend all eternity in Hell with a real burning fire, no relief from the eternal flame. Are we really willing to let people die without Jesus and not warn them of this burning eternity?
If we truly care why don’t we ever share our faith? Why don’t we pray for the lost? Why don’t we ever try to bring somebody to the body of Christ?” Your conscience would say, “You are saying one thing, but you are living something else.”
Romans 9:1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
Romans 9:2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
Romans 9:3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
Romans 9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
Romans 9:5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
The following three key notes are for opening up to the lost:
Concern: As Christians, saved by grace we should be concerned about those who are out of the love and protection of the Great Shepherd.
Closeness: Hold lost people dear to your heart to the point that you can’t live without them.
Connection: Build relationships with lost people to bring them into the family of faith.
IS YOUR HEART BROKEN FOR LOST PEOPLE?

Jeremiah 9:1 Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

To many of us often think “I am saved, so I am good.” We are not thinking of others. Our heart needs to be breaking for others. Put the shoe on the other foot, what if it was US without Jesus? Would you want someone concerned for your soul? Would you want someone praying for you? The other problem is we think or look at others and what they have done. We get the “they are getting what they deserve” mentality. Well when looked at from the eyes of the Lord we all deserve hell. Remember sin is sin, we pick and choose wht sin isn’t so bad, the Father doesn’t have any sin that is well this one isn’t so bad, it is all bad. My Pastor said something to me once when I was complaining about some lost people at work. He asked me “Cheryl are they lost”; I said yes, he said then why are you expecting them to behave as saved. What a true statement.

We all know lost people, we all need to embrace them, give them the gospel. If they don’t want to hear, walk away. Then pray for them, ask the Lord to send someone they will listen to. However don’t sit and do nothing. If we truly can watch anyone no matter who they are go through life and no know Jesus and say nothing we are truly a cold, and heartless person.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Psalm 96:2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
Psalm 96:3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
Psalm 96:4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The cross upon which Jesus died
Is a shelter in which we can hide
And its grace so free is sufficient for me
And deep is its fountain as wide as the sea.

There’s room at the cross for you
There’s room at the cross for you
Though millions have come, there’s still room for one
Yes there’s room at the cross for you.

Though millions have found him a friend
And have turned from the sins they have sinned
The Savior still waits to open the gates
And welcome a sinner before it’s too late.

There’s room at the cross for you
There’s room at the cross for you
Though millions have come, there’s still room for one
Yes there’s room at the cross for you.

The hand of my Savior is strong
And the love of my Savior is long
Through sunshine or rain, through loss or in gain,
The blood flows from Calvary to cleanse every stain.

There’s room at the cross for you
There’s room at the cross for you
Though millions have come, there’s still room for one
Yes there’s room at the cross for you.
