Life Or Death!!!

James_1-12

Have A Wonderful And Blessed Day!!! Life And Death Is In This World!!!

Psalm 39:1 To the chief Musician, even to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

Psalm 39:2 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

Psalm 39:3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue,

Psalm 39:4 LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.

Psalm 39:5 Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

Psalm 39:6 Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.

Psalm 39:7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.

Psalm 39:8 Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.

Psalm 39:9 I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because thou didst it.

Psalm 39:10 Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand.

Psalm 39:11 When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.

Psalm 39:12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.

Psalm 39:13 O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.

In the Beginning when God created Adam and Eve death was not going to be part of the deal. Because of sin, disobedience, death became part of the deal. Thank you Satan, Eve and Adam. I say that but if any of us had been there who would have done the same thing? Perhaps all of us.

Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Now today people are so used to death and dying they have gone accustomed to it. How many little babies are murdered daily? It is sickening to even think about.

God is a Lover of Life, no matter how we view the Lord on things he loves life and hates a murderer. He formed us in our Mothers womb.

Psalm 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.

Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Psalm 139:15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

1. Jesus came to give Life, and not take it. He NEVER tells us to kill anyone.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

2. Man is a destroyer of life.

Our culture has placed less and less value on life. We are a culture fascinated by death.

From the earliest time, man has struggled with choosing death over life.

The first death is a murder of one brother by another.

Man is fascinated by death. Our society becomes more and more violent. The top 10 video games listed have killing or violence as a major theme. A review of some of the top rated television shows indicate shows with violence and death as a backdrop.

3.Some have killed others just for the thrill to kill someone. This is not just very sad, but very sickening.

Genesis 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Genesis 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Genesis 4:9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?

Genesis 4:10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

Genesis 4:11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

4. What Does The Lord ask of us His Children

God’s desire for us is to live justly and merciful lives recognizing who he is and who we are not.
Unfortunately, when it comes to social issues and Christians, we show justice without mercy.

Christians who kill abortion doctors, who blow-up clinics and who are violent in their protests are not following God’s model. They are fitting in with the violent unsaved. The Lord NEVER tells us to take anyone’s life no matter what they are doing. If a man is protecting his family in his own home and has no choice is one thing. However no Christian should ever go out into the world, and kill someone they feel is doing wrong.

Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Micah 6:9 The LORD’S voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

However some of us will never die. If we are saved, a Born-again Bible Believing Child of the King, when we take our last breath here, we will open our eyes and be standing in front of Jesus our Lord. Yes no death pangs, in a new Perfect body, new perfect mind, NO SIN, NO SINFUL THOUGHTS. In our new home Heaven. Where no death will be ever, no sin will be never, all perfect everyday. We will be there for all eternity.

Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

1Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Now if someone isn’t born again, a Bible-Believing child of God, eternity will not be like this. It will be live flames, constant thirst, darkness, gnashing of teeth. This will last for all eternity. Horrible devils are there. Why would you pick this eternity over heaven.

Matthew 13:49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

Matthew 13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:51 Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.

The Lord keeps his word. He also has given us a free will. He will not make us choose him. He lets us choose where we will go. If we go to Heaven it is our choice. If we go to Hell it is our choice. The Lord sends us no where.

Follow Jesus he loved us long before we knew him. He died for our wicked being. He paid our sin debt in full so we could go to heaven.

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Arise, my soul, arise; shake off thy guilty fears;
The bleeding sacrifice in my behalf appears:
Before the throne my surety stands,
Before the throne my surety stands,
My name is written on His hands.

He ever lives above, for me to intercede;
His all redeeming love, His precious blood, to plead:
His blood atoned for all our race,
His blood atoned for all our race,
And sprinkles now the throne of grace.

Five bleeding wounds He bears; received on Calvary;
They pour effectual prayers; they strongly plead for me:
“Forgive him, O forgive,” they cry,
“Forgive him, O forgive,” they cry,
“Nor let that ransomed sinner die!”

The Father hears Him pray, His dear anointed One;
He cannot turn away, the presence of His Son;
His Spirit answers to the blood,
His Spirit answers to the blood,
And tells me I am born of God.

My God is reconciled; His pardoning voice I hear;
He owns me for His child; I can no longer fear:
With confidence I now draw nigh,
With confidence I now draw nigh,
And “Father, Abba, Father,” cry.

God Bless

Love Cheryl
