Have A Wonderful And Blessed Day!!! A Psalm And A Proverb!!!

Psalm 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

Psalm 22:2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

Psalm 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Psalm 22:4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

Psalm 22:5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

Psalm 22:6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

Psalm 22:7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

Psalm 22:8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

Psalm 22:9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts.

Psalm 22:10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother’s belly.

Psalm 22:11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

Psalm 22:12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

Psalm 22:13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

Psalm 22:14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

Psalm 22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

David is speaking to the Lord in verse one. Like us many times he is thinking the Lord isn’t helping him, ignoring him. Like many times we have this happen, we believe he is not listening, not helping, and just doesn’t care. Many reasons for this to happen. He may be wanting us to get something right in our life. He is waiting for the right time, and is teaching us some patience. Sometimes we just need to wait upon the Lord, and not panic, all things in his time and not ours.

If we are his child, nothing will happen that he is not going to allow. Keep in mind our Father is the king, the Lord of lords, King of kings so what can man do to us? If He isn’t our Father that is another story we are free game.

Never be afraid to speak for Jesus,
Think how much a word can do;
Never be afraid to own your Savior,
He Who loves and cares for you.

Never be afraid, never be afraid,
Never, never, never;
Jesus is your loving Savior,
Therefore never be afraid.

Never be afraid to work for Jesus
In His vineyard day by day;
Labor with a kind and willing spirit,
He will all your toil repay.

Never be afraid, never be afraid,
Never, never, never;
Jesus is your loving Savior,
Therefore never be afraid.

Never be afraid to bear for Jesus
Keen reproaches when they fall
Patiently endure your every trial,
Jesus meekly bore them all.

Never be afraid, never be afraid,
Never, never, never;
Jesus is your loving Savior,
Therefore never be afraid.

Never be afraid to die for Jesus,
He the Life, the Truth, the Way,
Gently in His arms of love will bear you
To the realms of endless day.

Never be afraid, never be afraid,
Never, never, never;
Jesus is your loving Savior,
Therefore never be afraid.

Proverbs 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

Proverbs 21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

Proverbs 21:3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

Proverbs 21:4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

Proverbs 21:5 The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.

Proverbs 21:6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.

Proverbs 21:7 The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.

Proverbs 21:8 The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.

Proverbs 21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

Proverbs 21:10 The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.

Proverbs 21:11 When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.

Proverbs 21:12 The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.

Proverbs 21:13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

Proverbs 21:14 A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.

Proverbs 21:15 It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

Proverbs 21:16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

Proverbs 21:17 He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.

Again the Proverbs are our how to live manual. Read each line carefully. Like verse two: Proverbs 21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

We read this and we can easily see in our own hearts we usually feel pretty good about ourselves. The lord however looks at our very heart, and he knows the very truth about each one of us. Look at verse ten:

Proverbs 21:10 The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.

We see the soul of the wicked desire evil, but his neighbor finds no favor in his eyes. Sounds like his neighbor really doesn’t want much to do with him. Read the Psalms and Proverbs each day. We need to know what is expected of us each day.

Living for Jesus, only for Jesus,
Striving in wisdom daily to grow,
Telling His goodness, seeking His glory,
Onward to Canaan, joyful I go;
Doubts may befall me, trials oppress me,
He is my Buckler, strong to defend;
Bright is the prospect, pleasant the journey;
Jesus will lead me safe to the end.

O the love of Jesus!
Wondrous love of Jesus!
I will exalt Him forevermore.

Living for Jesus, only for Jesus,
Always forgiving, gentle and mild;
Patient in labor, trusting His promise,
Learning my duty, meek as a child;
When I am hungry, Jesus will feed me,
He is my Shepherd, He is my Guide;
When I am thirsty, He will refresh me,
All that is needful He will provide.

O the love of Jesus!
Wondrous love of Jesus!
I will exalt Him forevermore.

Living for Jesus, only for Jesus—
Blessèd employment, blessèd reward!
Crowns in His kingdom wait for the faithful;
There shall the weary rest in the Lord;
Welcome, O welcome toil and affliction!
He is my Anchor steadfast and sure;
Glory to Jesus, glory to Jesus!
I shall behold Him, spotless and pure.

O the love of Jesus!
Wondrous love of Jesus!
I will exalt Him forevermore.
