Remember!!!!

2-Samuel_22-33

WHAT IS MEMORAIL WEEKEND!!! THANK YOU LORD FOR WATCHING OVER US!!!

THANK YOU SOLDIERS FOR DEFENDING OUR RIGHTS AND PROTECTING US!!!

Exodus 13:3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

Exodus 13:4 This day came ye out in the month Abib.

Exodus 13:5 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.

Memorial Day is primarily given to remembering those who have died, whether it be loved ones, friends, or those who have died for their country. We are instructed dozens of times in the Word of God to remember certain things. The Israelites were admonished to keep to their remembrance various days and events of their national history.

Just think of all the lifes lost defending our Country and those defending our rights.

War of 1812- 2,260

Civil War- 498,332

Spanish-American War- 2,446

WW1- 116,516

WW2- 405,309

VietNam- 90,220

These are just a few of the wars fought. These men left family, comforts of home to go our protect us, defend, and save our rights. Many were killed, many were diabled, some were mentally destroyed forever. Then came home and had nothing. The services they recieved were basically nothing. Now in our world people come here from other countries and recieve more. Furthermore people here are handing over our rights, rights that millions gave their lives for.

Something even more important to remember is where our salvation comes from, and daily needs to be remembered, and shared with others. That is Jesus Christ; He brought us all who trust him out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set our feet upon a rock, and established our goings. He loved us before we loved him. He did this long before we were born and long before we loved him.

Somethings for us to remember:

A. Our Vows To God.
1. Maybe to teach a Sunday school class. A Ladies group. A Mens group.
2. To witness more often.
3. To live a holy life. To be a brighter light.

B. To Be A Better Spouse, Better Friend.

1. More honest

2. Faithful

3. There when needed. To Pray more often for Others..
WE ARE TO REMEMBER THE LORD

A. Remember Him With Our Time.

B. Remember Him With Our Talent.

C. Remember Him With Our Treasure.

D. Remember Him In Our Thoughts.

E. Remember Him In Our Tasks.

F. Remember His Mercy And Goodness.

Let’s not forget these things that are so important.

Remember His Dying Love. “Father, forgive them.”

Remember His Comforting Call. “Come unto me.”

Remember His Charge. “Go ye into all the world and preach.”

Remember His Commandments. “If ye love me keep my commandments.”

THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL THAT YOU DO. THANK YOU LORD FOR MY SALVATION. I KNOW I DESERVE HELL, BUT BECAUSE OF YOU I AM SPENDING ALL ETERNITY IN HEAVEN WITH YOU AND MY WONDERFUL BROTHERS AND SISTERS. I LOVE YOU LORD….

THANK YOU TO ALL THE SOLDIERS WHO HAVE GIVEN SO MUCH TO PROTECT AND DEFEND THIS COUNTRY. LOVE, HUGS, AND PRAYERS….

Psalm 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

Psalm 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Psalm 40:6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

Psalm 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

1Timothy 4:6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword;
His truth is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! His truth is marching on.

I have seen Him in the watch fires of a hundred circling camps
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps;
His day is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! His day is marching on.

I have read a fiery Gospel writ in burnished rows of steel;
“As ye deal with My contemners, so with you My grace shall deal”;
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with His heel,
Since God is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Since God is marching on.

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat;
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! be jubilant, my feet;
Our God is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Our God is marching on.

In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me:
As He died to make men holy, let us live to make men free;
[originally …let us die to make men free]
While God is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! While God is marching on.

He is coming like the glory of the morning on the wave,
He is wisdom to the mighty, He is honor to the brave;
So the world shall be His footstool, and the soul of wrong His slave,
Our God is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Our God is marching on.

God Bless you

Love and Prayers Cheryl
