Special Blog What I Learned Again!!!

Jesus on the cross            salvation 13

I went to a Funeral today for a sweet lady who knew Jesus as her Savior and was not ashamed of her faith. I learned a lot from being there. Not from the Pastor, but from her Granddaughter my Daughter-in-law, Sarah Gordon Haurik and her family. In just a few minutes she told everyone how and why she knew her Grandma was in heaven. She gave the gospel message just as we are suppose to do. Mark16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Sadly I could not have even thought to do that at my Grandmothers funeral. I will answer for that. In that church there was Catholics, Presbyterians, Non Denominational, Baptists, Some Non Believers. NO ANGRY PEOPLE.
Oh The Children Four Boys shared things equally didn’t sneak stuff away. Pictures had been divided equally how wonderful that must be. ALL the GRANDCHILDREN got THINGS. Didn’t go to one person. ( This is in reference what happened at my Parents funeral. My one brother and only sister stole all they could)However My Children are all okay because they know we can’t take anything with us. No Hearse has ever had a U-Haul on the back. This life isn’t suppose to be about things it is to GLORIFY Jesus, and not for ourselves. Also as Sarah Gordon Haurik said today it is not because we are good, it is because we are trusting Jesus. Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
It is not on our own goodness. Also it is not as the Catholics teach, NOT BY WORKS!!!
I need to realize from now on it doesn’t matter who will be upset I need to be giving the gospel gracefully but give the GREATEST NEWS. If they choose not to hear it fine, walk away say I love you, and pray for them. I however can’t say “OH No I don’t want them upset”. Better man be upset then My Precious Lord and Savior. He Spilled His Precious blood for me. He was beaten, spit upon, mocked, striped naked, his face beaten looking like hamburger, his back beaten to the bone for me. I am going to worry what man thinks???? Carried my sins into hell. HOW DARE I SAY OH NO THIS PERSON WHO HARDLEY TALKS TO ME IS GOING TO BE MAD????

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

1Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

1Peter 2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

1Peter 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

1Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

1Peter 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the *worlds thy hands have made,
I see the stars, I hear the *rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed:

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!

When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees,
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze:

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!

And when I think that God, his Son not sparing,
Sent him to die, I scarce can take it in,
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!
Then *I shall bow in humble adoration,
And there proclaim, My God, how great thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!

Love and Prayers
