Have A Wonderful Day!!! Things To Be Abstaining From!!!

When we read the word of God, he is very clear of things we need to keep away from. Things that as a child of his we need to abstain from. Remember after salvation we are a child of the most high God, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Savior the Redeemer. Go in the word review what he suffered at the cross for us. He asks us to stay away, abstain, avoid, from fornication, things of this world, strong drink, evil men, unequally yoked with non believers, comunion with darkness. Proverbs 4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.

Proverbs 4:15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.

Many Saved will say will say “well it is okay to drink just not get drunk”, The Lord tells us not even to look upon strong drink I would think He would perfer us not to drink at all. He calls us to be different than the world; well if are enjoying the same wickedness the world does, I do believe the Lord is not please at all with us. The television programs showing filth against the word of God, do you think he wants us sitting back enjoying these programs? Concerts singing about falling in love with someone and fornicating outside of marriage, is this something pleasing to our Lord?

Things of witchcraft, horoscopes how many read them and say “just for fun”, no they are not, it is of Satan, LEAVE this stuff alone.

We are here for Him, not him for us. We need to be glorifying HIm!!! We are surely not here to please this wicked world.

Micah 5:12 And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:

Micah 5:13 Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.

Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

There is a little song we have song with the little ones for years and it also can speak to us adults. It is really for everyone.

O be careful little eyes what you see

O be careful little eyes what you see

There’s a Father up above

And He’s looking down in love

So, be careful little eyes what you see

O be careful little ears what you hear

O be careful little ears what you hear

There’s a Father up above

And He’s looking down in love

So, be careful little ears what you hear

O be careful little hands what you do

O be careful little hands what you do

There’s a Father up above

And He’s looking down in love

So, be careful little hands what you do

O be careful little feet where you go

O be careful little feet where you go

There’s a Father up above

And He’s looking down in love

So, be careful little feet where you go

O be careful little mouth what you say

O be careful little mouth what you say

There’s a Father up above

And He’s looking down in love

So, be careful little mouth what you say

Source from whence the stream of mercy
Like a river flows to me,
With Thy cords of love so tender
Bind and keep me close to Thee.

Keep me ever close to Thee

Source from whence the stream of mercy
Like a river flows to me,
With Thy cords of love so tender
Bind and keep me close to Thee.

Blessèd Savior, dear to me,
With Thy cords of love so tender
Bind and keep me close to Thee;
Keep me ever close to Thee,
Blessèd Savior, dear to me,
Bind and keep me close to Thee.

There my life, my hope and comfort,
There a refuge for my soul,
When the clouds hang darkly round me,
And the distant surges roll.

Source from whence the stream of mercy
Like a river flows to me,
With Thy cords of love so tender
Bind and keep me close to Thee.

There in holy, sweet communion
With Thy Spirit day by day,
Faith to realms of light and glory
Bears my raptured soul away.

Source from whence the stream of mercy
Like a river flows to me,
With Thy cords of love so tender
Bind and keep me close to Thee.

Close to Thee, O Savior, keep me,
Till I reach the shining shore,
Till I join the raptured army,
Shouting joy forevermore.

Source from whence the stream of mercy
Like a river flows to me,
With Thy cords of love so tender
Bind and keep me close to Thee.

Love and Prayers
