Have A Wonderful and Blessed Day!!!!! A Promise and A Prayer!!!

A Precious Promise;

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 23:24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.

Proverbs 23:25 Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.

Here are just a few verses on parents and children. The Lord gives us children and gives us the responsibility to raise them to know and love him. To teach them properly. Too often we have children, and forget our part, and leave them to raise themselves. Then something goes terribly wrong, we stand there hands in the air “I don’t know what happened, I did my best”. Now I know sometimes we did our job and little Bobby went the wrong way for a time. However to often little Bobby was not ever told “No you can’t”. The Lord does promise If we train them up right when he is old he will not depart.

Ephesians 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

I’m so glad I’m a part of the Family of God,
I’ve been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,
For I’m part of the family,
The Family of God.

You will notice we say “brother and sister” ’round here,
It’s because we’re a family and these are so near;
When one has a heartache, we all share the tears,
And rejoice in each victory in this family so dear.

I’m so glad I’m a part of the Family of God,
I’ve been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,
For I’m part of the family,
The Family of God.

From the door of an orphanage to the house of the King,
No longer an outcast, a new song I sing;
From rags unto riches, from the weak to the strong,
I’m not worthy to be here, but praise God I belong!

I’m so glad I’m a part of the Family of God,
I’ve been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His Blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,
For I’m part of the family,
The Family of God

A Precious Prayer;

Daniel 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Daniel 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Daniel 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

Daniel 12:13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Daniel had a dream and was asking the Lord for revelation. “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?”

The Lord as we read further on answers Daniel. He tells him this is for the end times, and explains, and tells Daniel:

“But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days”.

Jimmie, said his kind protector,
Long his faithful friend and guide,
Jimmie, do you love the Savior?
Yes, the happy child replied.
Can you tell how much you love Him?
All my heart to Him I give;
Love my Savior? Yes, forever,
I will try for Him to live.

Beautiful witness for God is he,
The tears of the orphan are wiped away,
I love Jesus, and Jesus loves me;
And that is all I’ve got to say.

’Twas the Holy Spirit led him
In the pleasant way of truth,
And he sought and found the Savior
In the early days of youth.
Should he live till years have sprinkled
O’er his brow the frost of age,
Sweet to him the words of comfort,
From the Bible’s sacred page.

Beautiful witness for God is he,
The tears of the orphan are wiped away,
I love Jesus, and Jesus loves me;
And that is all I’ve got to say.

Children, we may love the Savior;
If we seek Him, we shall find;
Are we ready now to serve Him
With our heart, our strength, and mind?
Think of all His tender mercies,
All the wonders He has done.
Little Jimmie’s bright example
Let us follow, every one.

Beautiful witness for God is he,
The tears of the orphan are wiped away,
I love Jesus, and Jesus loves me;
And that is all I’ve got to say.
