A Promise and A Prayer :)

psalm-86-5

Have A Wonderful and Blessed Weekend!!! A Promise and A Prayer!!!

A Precious Promise;

Psalm 86:5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The Lord Jesus our Savior and Redeemer has so many wonderful promises and I think salvation and forgiveness is the greatest. Without them we would be separated from him for all eternity. Without them we would spend all eternity in utter darkness Hell where the flame never stops.

However he promises to forgive us and all we need to do is call upon him, he is ready to forgive us.

Sinner, how thy heart is troubled,
God is coming very near;
Do not hide thy deep emotion,
Do not check that falling tear.

O be saved, His grace is free;
O be saved, He died for thee;
O be saved, He died for thee.

Jesus now is bending o’er thee,
Jesus lowly, meek and mild;
To the Friend Who died to save thee,
Canst thou not be reconciled?

O be saved, His grace is free;
O be saved, He died for thee;
O be saved, He died for thee.

Art thou waiting till the morrow?
Thou may’st never see its light;
Come at once—accept His mercy,
He is waiting—come tonight.

O be saved, His grace is free;
O be saved, He died for thee;
O be saved, He died for thee.

With a lowly, contrite spirit,
Kneeling at the Savior’s feet;
Thou canst feel this very moment,
Pardon—precious, pure and sweet.

O be saved, His grace is free;
O be saved, He died for thee;
O be saved, He died for thee.

Let the angels bear the tidings,
Upward to the courts of Heav’n;
Let them sing, with holy rapture,
O’er another soul forgiv’n.

A Precious Prayer;

Ezekiel 11:12 And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

Ezekiel 11:13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

Ezekiel 11:14 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Ezekiel 11:15 Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.

Ezekiel 11:16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

Ezekiel 11:17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

In verse 13 we see Ezekiel crying out to Lord about the remnant of Israel. Then the Lord answers him, and tells him what is going on, and gives him what he is asking for. He gives Ezekiel the land in verse 17.

O troubled heart, be thou not afraid,
In the Lord thy God, let thy hope be stayed;
He will hear thy cry and will give thee aid,
Whate’er thy cross may be.

He is able still to deliver thee,
And His own right hand thy defense shall be:
He is able still to deliver thee,
Then be thou not afraid.

O troubled heart, tho’ thy foes unite,
Let thy faith be strong and thy armor bright;
Thou shalt overcome thro’ His pow’r and might,
And more than conqu’ror be.

He is able still to deliver thee,
And His own right hand thy defense shall be:
He is able still to deliver thee,
Then be thou not afraid.

O troubled heart, when thy way is drear,
He will rescue thee and dispel thy fear;
In thy greatest need He is always near,
To Him all glory be.

He is able still to deliver thee,
And His own right hand thy defense shall be:
He is able still to deliver thee,
Then be thou not afraid.
