A Psalm and A Proverb!!!

thursday-1-thessalonians-5-18

Have a Wonderful and Blessed Day!!! A Psalm and A Proverb!!!

Psalm 6:1 A Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

Psalm 6:2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

Psalm 6:3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?

Psalm 6:4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

Psalm 6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

Psalm 6:6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

Psalm 6:7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

Psalm 6:8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

Psalm 6:9 The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.

Psalm 6:10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

This is David calling out to the Lord for mercy. David is struggling, he is weary, crying, and sore vexed. He is calling out to the Lord for his return. He is tired of dealing with his enemies. David is telling the workers of Iniquity to depart from him. The Lord did hear David’s prayers and crys and answers him.

PRAISE THE LORD FOR ALL HIS BLESSINGS, ANSWERS TO OUR PRAYERS!!!!!!!

I must tell Jesus all of my trials;
I cannot bear these burdens alone;
In my distress He kindly will help me;
He ever loves and cares for His own.

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

I must tell Jesus all of my troubles;
He is a kind, compassionate friend;
If I but ask Him, He will deliver,
Make of my troubles quickly an end.

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

Tempted and tried, I need a great Savior;
One Who can help my burdens to bear;
I must tell Jesus, I must tell Jesus;
He all my cares and sorrows will share.

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

O how the world to evil allures me!
O how my heart is tempted to sin!
I must tell Jesus, and He will help me
Over the world the victory to win.

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

What a Beautiful section of verses. A very important, and godly man uses these verses well 5and 6 as his life verses. How true to remind ourselves as these have so much truth in them. Why would we ever tust our own understanding over the Lord’s???? He is all knowing, all perfect, sinless, we are as filthy rags, sinful. Trust only in Him, he will direct our paths in the right way, perfect way. Don’t tell him, let him tell us.

CAN ANYONE OF US SAY WE HAVE MORE WISDOM OR KNOWLEDGE THAN OUR LORD AND SAVIOR???? CAN WE SAY WE CAN DO A BETTER JOB SURVIVING ON OUR OWN????

Simply trusting every day,
Trusting through a stormy way;
Even when my faith is small,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting as the moments fly,
Trusting as the days go by;
Trusting Him whate’er befall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Brightly does His Spirit shine
Into this poor heart of mine;
While He leads I cannot fall;
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting as the moments fly,
Trusting as the days go by;
Trusting Him whate’er befall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Singing if my way is clear,
Praying if the path be drear;
If in danger for Him call;
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting as the moments fly,
Trusting as the days go by;
Trusting Him whate’er befall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting Him while life shall last,
Trusting Him till earth be past;
Till within the jasper wall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting as the moments fly,
Trusting as the days go by;
Trusting Him whate’er befall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Love and Prayers
