A Psalm and A Proverb :)

psalm-112-1

Have A Wonderful and Blessed Day!!! A Psalm and A Proverb!!!

Psalm 112:1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

Psalm 112:2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

Psalm 112:3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Psalm 112:4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

Psalm 112:5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

Psalm 112:6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

Psalm 112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

Psalm 112:8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

Psalm 112:9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

Psalm 112:10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

We see in this Psalm how blessed the man is that feareth the Lord. Fereth the Lord isn’t like we fear the dark, it is the UTMOST RESPECT.

It is a fear conjoined with love and hope, and is therefore not a slavish dread, but rather filial reverence.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Psalm 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

If we are in love and fear of the Lord no reason to be fearful of evil tidings. We shall have our hearts fixed, and we will be a light in the darkness. The wicked shall see and be grieved. Our Blessed Lord and Savior will be well pleased with us. Who would we rather please? Why are we here on this earth? It is to please and glorify our Lord.

We will glorify the King of kings
We will glorify the Lamb
We will glorify the Lord of lords
Who is the great I Am

He is Lord of heaven Lord of earth
He is Lord of all who live
He is Lord above the universe
All praise to Him we give

Hallelujah to the King of kings
Hallelujah to the Lamb
Hallelujah to the Lord of lords
Who is the great I am

Proverbs 26:16 The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason.

Proverbs 26:17 He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears.

Proverbs 26:18 As a mad man who casteth firebrands, arrows, and death,

Proverbs 26:19 So is the man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am not I in sport?

Proverbs 26:20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.

Proverbs 26:21 As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife.

Proverbs 26:22 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

Proverbs 26:23 Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross.

Proverbs 26:24 He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him;

Proverbs 26:25 When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.

Proverbs 26:26 Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation.

Proverbs 26:27 Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.

Proverbs 26:28 A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.

We see in Proverbs 26:16-28 that the sluggard is wise in his own eyes. The sluggard is as a talebearer one with a wicked heart. We are warned to avoid him, he is deceitful. These verses warn us to avoid the people that are guilty of the things mentioned of such things. The people of such things are wicked, and evil, we should not have any association with such things.

ONLY TRUST HIM

Come, every soul by sin oppressed;
There’s mercy with the Lord,
And He will surely give you rest
By trusting in His Word.

Only trust Him, only trust Him,
Only trust Him now;
He will save you, He will save you,
He will save you now.

For Jesus shed His precious blood
Rich blessings to bestow;
Plunge now into the crimson flood
That washes white as snow.

Only trust Him, only trust Him,
Only trust Him now;
He will save you, He will save you,
He will save you now.

Yes, Jesus is the truth, the way,
That leads you into rest;
Believe in Him without delay
And you are fully blessed.

Only trust Him, only trust Him,
Only trust Him now;
He will save you, He will save you,
He will save you now.

Come, then, and join this holy band,
And on to glory go
To dwell in that celestial land
Where joys immortal flow.

Only trust Him, only trust Him,
Only trust Him now;
He will save you, He will save you,
He will save you now.

O Jesus, blessèd Jesus, dear,
I’m coming now to Thee;
Since Thou hast made the way so clear
And full salvation free.

Only trust Him, only trust Him,
Only trust Him now;
He will save you, He will save you,
He will save you now.

Love and Prayers
