God Blesses The Righteous!!!

1-peter-3-12

Have A Wonderful and Blessed Day!!! The Lord Will Bless the Righteous!!!

Psalm 5:12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

1Peter 3:11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

1Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

1Peter 3:13 And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?

Many times people struggle with attempting to live the Christian life in themselves or attempting to please God by creating a standard of laws that they believe God would be pleased with. Yet the Bible tell us that God is not impress with any we can do within ourselves. He is pleased by us living according to his word, and when needing help calling upon Him.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

It is important for us to know that this walk of righteousness is about us being led by the Holy Spirit to walk in the righteousness of God and not self-righteousness.

1John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

1John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Who would become a fireman and would not want to perform their duties as such? We would say to that person you are not who you say you are. If we are a child of God, of the Father, we should want to live for him. Just as a fireman wants to put out fires, rescue people from fires, and goes prepared to do so. We as children of the Father in heaven should be prepared mdaily to serve him. We should be living righteously.

Because of this transformed life God makes it possible for you and me in Christ Jesus to walk in the righteousness of God.

Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Romans 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Paul expresses to us through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that we in Christ are made free from the dominion of sin and for us to yield ourselves not unto unrighteousness (sin) but unto righteousness.

It is important for us to know that this does not mean we are not capable of sinning, but that should not be our desire.

Listen there is not a single thing we can do to impress God in ourselves but when we walk in this righteousness of His Son we are the benefactors.

Who is it that you seek approval from daily? Is it some person or some organization. Our family and Friends, our Pastor? Our approval needs to come from God. If we are to live a God-approved life, we must listen for God to speak to us and obey, live in the liberty of Christ’s salvation knowing that works have nothing to do with our salvation and be sure of our commission so that we might go forth with boldness in God’s work. Our Lord and Savior came here suffered, and died on Calvary for each one of us. He rose again on the third day. He did this while we were yet sinners. Why would we after salvation be okay to stay in sin knowing what he went through for each one of us? I would think it would feel like a slap in the face to get saved and look at Jesus talk to him and get uo look for that favorite sin.

I SURRENDER ALL

All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.

I surrender all,
I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow;
Worldly pleasures all forsaken,
Take me, Jesus, take me now.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Now I feel the sacred flame;
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name!

Love and Prayers
