Jesus Christ Is Relevant to Our Lives!!!

Have A Wonderful And Blessed Day!!! Making It Real To Others!!!!

As Christians how often do we hear, “I am glad that Jesus works for you but is isn’t for me”? Or we invite someone to Church and we hear “Sunday is my day to sleep in, and relax, no time for that Church stuff”? However these same people we could ask “Hey the local hotel is having a tea leaf reader on Sunday would you like to go”; “Sure lets see if there is true love in my future”. Or I am starting a Poker night how about joining in with me”? “Well not much of a Poker player but if you are going to have some beers there Count me in”.
Romans 13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
Romans 13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

We need to make A relationship with Jesus very important to the lost, to the Backslidden Christian to people who believe Jesus isn’t relevant to their lives. It is very sad that even Christians think the same as the lost, they get saved, feel as if I am okay for eternity no need for all that relationship, worship stuff. Then we have the lost who feel like none of it is relevant to them. The Lost don’t believe salvation is important at all.
1Corinthians 9:22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
1Corinthians 9:23 And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
1Corinthians 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
1Corinthians 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

Romans 1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Now, while I believe that in reaching unbelievers for Christ, we should follow the admonition of Paul: 1Corinthians 9:22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
We must always remember that while our methods might change with changing times, our message must never change.
It is not any particular method that makes a difference in a person’s life, but as Paul tells us in: Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
We must relate to people using a variety of methods to share with them the relevant message of the Good News. Which is that God, in Christ, came to do for us what we could never do for ourselves. He made Himself known to us and paid the price of sin for us. He now invites us to know Him, to follow Him and to share eternity with Him.

Many have concluded Christianity is just another religion because many believers take a religious approach to living the Christian life – focusing on keeping rules and regulations rather than cultivating a growing love relationship with God. It makes sense, then, that the key to the world recognizing the relevance of Christianity requires that believers return to a proper focus on loving God and loving others. Christiany is not a RELIGION, it is a RELATIONSHIP!!! Religion sends people to Hell it is filled with lies, and deciet.
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
The priority of every believer is to grow in our love relationship with God. The end result will be that we will love others as we should.
Such a life will surpass the requirements of the law. The reason is that love always goes the second mile. Instead of stopping at not committing adultery, murder, a life lived in love will surpass the requirements of the law by treasuring one’s spouse. Instead of stopping at not committing murder, we treasure life. Instead of stopping at not stealing, we develop a life of generosity. Instead of stopping at not coveting our neighbor’s things, we will take steps to bless and enrich our lives.
We have said that the heart of our church is to: “Help others through ministry, which is our greatest privilege; Encourage one another through fellowship, which is our greatest pleasure; Adore Christ through worship, which is our greatest passion; Reach the lost through evangelism, which is our greatest priority; Train believers in discipleship, which is our greatest pursuit.”
Reach out to the lost. Ask yourself “is there anybody I truly want to see in hell”? I know some very nasty people, I have read about some very nasty evil people, and I truly want them to get saved, and not go to hell. If we know of that saved individual who got saved feels like “I am ready for eternity, but living my own life”, reach out to him/her. Let that person know we are a new creature after salvation old things are passed away, serve the Father not ourself.

ALL FOR JESUS
All for Jesus! all for Jesus!
All my being’s ransom’d pow’rs;
All my thoughts and words and doings,
All my days and all my hours.
All for Jesus! all for Jesus!
All my days and all my hours.
Let my hands perform his bidding;
Let my feet run in his ways;
Let my eyes see Jesus only;
Let my lips speak forth his praise.
All for Jesus! all for Jesus!
Let my lips speak forth his praise.
Worldlings prize their gems of beauty,
Cling to gilded toys of dust,
Boast of wealth, and fame, and pleasure;
Only Jesus will I trust.
Only Jesus! only Jesus!
Only Jesus will I trust.
Since my eyes were fixed on Jesus,
I’ve lost sight of all beside,–
So enchained my spirit’s vision,
Looking at the crucified.
All for Jesus! all for Jesus!
All for Jesus, crucified!
Oh, what wonder! how amazing!
Jesus, glorious King of kings,
Deigns to call me his beloved,
Lets me rest beneath his wings.
All for Jesus! all for Jesus!
Resting now beneath his wings.

Love and Prayers
Cheryl
