Have A Wonderful and Blessed Day!!! A Psalm and A Proverb!!!

Psalm 47:1 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
Psalm 47:2 For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
Psalm 47:3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
Psalm 47:4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
Psalm 47:5 God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
Psalm 47:6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
Psalm 47:7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
Psalm 47:8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
Psalm 47:9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.

Our God is a MIGHTY God. He and He alone deserves praises and psalms sung unto him. Here in verse 2 the word terrible is not how we think terrible to be.

The Father is our Lord and Savior, he is the creator, he is the Great I Am. He is who we need to give our All to. Sing Praises to his name. Worship him daily. This Psalm is telling us to do just that.

O COULD I SPEAK THE MATCHLESS WORTH

Oh could I speak the matchless worth,
Oh could I sound the glories forth,
Which in my Saviour shine!
I’d soar, and touch the heavenly strings
And vie with Gabriel while he sings
In notes almost divine.
O could I speak the matchless worth,
O could I sound the glories forth which in my Savior shine!
I’d sing His glorious righteousness, and magnify the wondrous grace
Which made salvation mine, which made salvation mine.
I’d sing the precious blood He spilt,
My ransom from the dreadful guilt of sin, and wrath divine;
I’d sing His glorious righteousness, in which all perfect, heavenly dress
My soul shall ever shine, my soul shall ever shine.
I’d sing the characters He bears,
And all the forms of love He wears, exalted on His throne;
In loftiest songs of sweetest praise, I would to everlasting days
Make all His glories known, make all His glories known.
Soon, the delightful day will come
When my dear Lord will bring me home, and I shall see His face;
Then with my Savior, Brother, Friend, a blessèd eternity I’ll spend,
Triumphant in His grace, triumphant in His grace.

Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
Proverbs 28:2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
Proverbs 28:3 A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
Proverbs 28:4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
Proverbs 28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
Proverbs 28:6 Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
Proverbs 28:7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.
Proverbs 28:8 He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
Proverbs 28:10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.

The Book of Proverbs is our book to teach us how to live. To teach us what to do and what not to do. Example: Proverbs 28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

So often over and over again we see the evil, the unrighteous, he who oppresseth will face judgement, even his prayer will be an abomination.
Proverbs 28:10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
Anyone who pulls someone into evilness, into the wrong direction is in danger of the pit. Those rejecting Jesus are committing the sin of unforgiveness. These people will spend all eternity in Hell, God is not sending them to Hell, they are taking themselves there. Keep in mind this life is over in a blink of a a eye. Eternity is for a ever and ever. No sin is worth a few seconds, minutes, hours. It is better to be in righteousness, right with the Lord, walk in the Light.

WALKING IN THE LIGHT
All ye saints of light proclaim,
Jesus, the light of the world;
Life and mercy in His name,
Jesus, the light of the world.

We’ll walk in the light, beautiful light,
Come where the dew-drops of mercy are bright;
Shine all around us by day and by night,
Jesus, the light of the world.

Hear the Savior’s earnest call,
Jesus, the light of the world;
Send the Gospel truth to all,
Jesus, the light of the world.

We’ll walk in the light, beautiful light,
Come where the dew-drops of mercy are bright;
Shine all around us by day and by night,
Jesus, the light of the world.

Why not seek Him then today,
Jesus, the light of the world;
Go with truth the narrow way,
Jesus, the light of the world.

We’ll walk in the light, beautiful light,
Come where the dew-drops of mercy are bright;
Shine all around us by day and by night,
Jesus, the light of the world.

Come, confess Him as your king,
Jesus, the light of the world;
Then the bells of Heav’n will ring,
Jesus, the light of the world.

Love and Prayers
