Have a Wonderful and Blessed Day!!!
1Chronicles 16:10 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
1Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
1Chronicles 16:12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
Matthew 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
2Corinthians 7:8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
2Corinthians 7:9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
We as Christians should be out raged at current events going on in the Country the United States. . Our great nation is a nation or as Benjamin Franklin referred to it an empire and this empire is founded and was built on Christian principles. Now, it seems, we are getting further and further away from those principles. Actually is there any Christian values left? Why? It is because we are getting further and further away from God in our lives. When My Grandfather was young and really my Dad, you could make an agreement with a handshake, and feel comfortable it would work out well for each party. Know it is so common for any business to be in court more than a couple times for non-payment of service; that is even with a signed contract.
Dan Cathey of Chik-fil-let made the statement that he was a Christian and ran his business according to Biblical principles but that his business was not a Christian business because it was an entity. The point he was trying to make is that the position of the company concerning Christ depended on the people in the company and their relationship with Christ.
Man that was created in God’s image is the only creature with the ability to commune with God. It was man, you and me that God loved so much that he watched His only begotten Son die for. It was us that victory over death was claimed by Jesus in His resurrection.
However look at this Country, this Land where people came for religious freedom. A “Christian Nation”!!!
*The ninth circuit court of the United States ruled that the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States is unconstitutional because of the words “under God”.
*One Woman basically got on her evil soap box and got Prayer removed from Public school.
*Abortion performed at thousands daily without most blinking an eye. Not due to health risks of the Mother, the baby is an inconvience. Some women have more than 3 0r 4.
*Transgenders. Yes the Lord “didn’t know” what do make each child, so people are making up their own mind.
*Turn on Television you can see at anytime of day what was at one time considered porn.
*Men marrying men and women marrying women.
This list could go on and on!!!
Homosexuality—It is not another acceptable lifestyle, it is sin.
Abortion—-It is not a persons choice, it is sin.
Profanity—-It is not modern language, it is Sin.
Vanity seems to be the sin of the day.
This is evidenced by the self help market.
Materialism rules the lives of our people.
This world has taken the names of sin and put fancy titles to them to disguise each one. We can call it whatever we want however the Lord still calls it sin, and being an unchanging Lord he will call it what it is forever.
We need to quit avoiding repentance. God has promised us that he will hear our prayers, and that because of the redeeming power of the blood of Christ, and His marvelous grace, he will forgive our sins. He requires a little something from us. That something is for us to admit that we are wrong and to turn away from the things that are not right when measured by the Word of God.
Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Acts 16:32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
ROCK OF AGES
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy wounded side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure;
Save from wrath and make me pure.
Not the labor of my hands
Can fulfill Thy law’s demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow,
All for sin could not atone;
Thou must save, and Thou alone.
Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to the cross I cling;
Naked, come to Thee for dress;
Helpless look to Thee for grace;
Foul, I to the fountain fly;
Wash me, Savior, or I die.
While I draw this fleeting breath,
When mine eyes shall close in death,
[originally When my eye-strings break in death]
When I soar to worlds unknown,
See Thee on Thy judgment throne,
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee.
