He Died For Our Sins!!! He Lives Today

resurrection weekened My Reedemmer lives

Have A Wonderful and Blessed Day!!! Jesus Is Betrayed and Taken Away!!!

Mark 14:42 Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.
Mark 14:43 And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
Mark 14:44 And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.
Mark 14:45 And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.
Mark 14:46 And they laid their hands on him, and took him.
Mark 14:47 And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
Mark 14:48 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?
Mark 14:49 I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.
Mark 14:50 And they all forsook him, and fled.

Jesus willingly went to the cross to be our atonement for sin.

Many people have died for various causes without much of a sense of regret or pain. Palestinian terrorist sometimes strap bombs to themselves and blow themselves up in order to try and kill Jews. The Japanese had pilots that would aim their planes at our battleships in order to try and kill U.S. soliders and to destroy ships. Even the Bible, gives the brave account of Stephen and his death by stoning. Then we see Jesus here, just hours away from the cross now and He is in agony. To understand why he is in agony we need to think about what he would do for us and what was in this cup that Jesus did not want to drink. However Jesus is the only one who went lovingly to the cross for our sins paid the sin debt, and rose again and is very much alive today!!! He didn’t die on the Cross killing others in the process.

Isaiah 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Isaiah 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
Isaiah 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
Isaiah 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
Isaiah 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Isaiah 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

We need to clearly understand that Jesus death was a atoning sacrifice for sin. For our sin; not for him, he is perfect in everyway. No sin can be found in Jesus, he has no blemish, no spot, he is holy.
Before Jesus coming as the Lamb of God, paying our sin debt in full, man would offer up lambs, goats and bulls. By the atoning death by bulls and goats was only a shadow of what was to come.
Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
Hebrews 10:2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
Hebrews 10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

What was impossible for the bulls and goats to do, Christ did.
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

We are spiritually blind. We cannot see that we are in a spiritual war. Peter was spiritually blinded. He couldn’t see that he was in a spiritual war. He’s using carnal weapons to fight a spiritual war. It’s high time we wake up and realize we’re in a spiritual battle and we’ve got to use spiritual weapons: Prayer and the Word of God. Two of which Peter neglected. He slept when he should’ve been praying.
Our Precious Father showed; His love for us by sending His only begotten Son, and Christ demonstrated His love for us by dying on the cross for us-sinners.
He loved us, and wanted to to set us free. Praise God! What a Savior!
However he has given us each a free will, and will not make anyone follow him. He wants us to make that decision on our own. It is so Awesome to have someone love me that much. Nobody will ever love us like the Father, the Lord, the Savior Jesus Christ.

Day of wonder, day of gladness,
Hail thy ever glorious light!
Gone is sorrow, gone is sadness,
Ended is the gloomy night!
Listen to the angel’s story—
Cast away all dark and dread;
Give to God, the Father, glory!
“Christ is risen from the dead!”
Hallelujah! hallelujah!
Christ is risen, as He said;
Hallelujah! hallelujah!
Christ is risen from the dead!
In the triumph of this hour,
Jubilant shall swell the song;
Unto Jesus, honor, power,
Blessing, victory belong.
Scattered are the clouds of error,
Sin and hell are captive led;
E’en the grave is free from terror,
“Christ is risen from the dead!”
Hallelujah! hallelujah!
Christ is risen, as He said;
Hallelujah! hallelujah!
Christ is risen from the dead!
Every people, every nation,
Soon shall hear the gladsome sound;
Joyous tidings of salvation,
Borne to earth’s remotest bound.
Then shall rise in tones excelling,
Praise for grace so freely shed;
“Christ is risen from the dead!”
Hallelujah! hallelujah!
Christ is risen, as He said;
Hallelujah! hallelujah!
Christ is risen from the dead!

Love and Prayers
Cheryl
