A Precious Promise And Prayer!!!

Mark 11 26

Have A Wonderful and Blessed Weekend!!! A Promise and A Prayer!!!

A Precious Promise;
Psalm 86:5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Our Father promises to forgive us; however he does promise that if we withhold forgiveness from others he will also withhold forgiveness from us. Look at what the Lord has forgiven us of, how dare we withhold forgiveness from others. His mercy is everlasting, he has paid our sin debt in full. Lets forgive others as Christ Jesus has forgiven us.

JESUS PAID IT ALL
I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.
For nothing good have I
Whereby Thy grace to claim,
I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb.
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.
And now complete in Him
My robe His righteousness,
Close sheltered ’neath His side,
I am divinely blest.
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.
Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and Thine alone,
Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone.
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.
When from my dying bed
My ransomed soul shall rise,
“Jesus died my soul to save,”
Shall rend the vaulted skies.
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

A Precious Prayer;
Luke 23:33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
Luke 23:35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

What a beautiful prayer; so short but speaks volumes. Here Jesus is on the cross looking over the crowd which hung him, cursing at him, mocking him. What does he pray?
“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do”.
What do we do when someone hurts us? Are we willing to forgive right away? Do we go and pray for people who have hurt us or those we love?
Jesus who is perfect in every way, no sin no spot, and he is asking forgiveness for these sinners, the people laughing over his torture and death. Lets just think about that.

O’ I WANT TO BE LIKE JESUS
Lord, I want to be like Jesus in my heart, in my heart,
Lord, I want to be like Jesus in my heart, in my heart.
In my heart, in my heart,
Lord, I want to be like Jesus in my heart, in my heart.
Lord, I want to be more holy in my heart, in my heart,
Lord, I want to be more holy in my heart, in my heart.
In my heart, in my heart,
Lord, I want to be more holy in my heart, in my heart.
Oh I want to be like Jesus, Oh I want to be more Holy
In my heart, in my heart, in my heart,
I want to be like Jesus.
Lord, I want to be like Jesus in my heart, in my heart,
Lord, I want to be like Jesus in my heart, in my heart.
In my heart, in my heart,
Lord, I want to be like Jesus in my heart, in my heart.

Love and Prayers
Cheryl
