He Sees Our Hearts :)

Have A Wonderful and Blessed Day!!! Jesus Looks On Our Heart!!!

1Samuel 16:6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’S anointed is before him.

1Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

But the LORD said to Samuel, look at. Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

What did God see when He looked at David’s heart? What does He see when He looks at yours? How can my potential be realized? What attracts God to me?

The Bible places a great value on what kind of heart you have. What is your heart like today? We will look at four kinds of hearts: a sinful heart, a trusting heart, a tender heart, and a surrendered heart.

A Sinful Heart

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

This is why Jesus died for us, we are all sinners. God knew there was nothing we could do to get to heaven on our own. Our hearts our sinful.

A Trusting Heart

To have a trusting heart is a blessing if we are trusting in Jesus. To trust Jesus as our Lord and Savior is the only way to heaven. He sees our heart and knows if we are truly trusting him. Sadly many are trusting in the wrong things and the Lord can see that. We can fool everyone around us but never the Lord.

2Kings 5:1 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.

2Kings 5:2 And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman’s wife.

2Kings 5:3 And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.

A Tender, Obedient Heart

To have this heart is truly wonderful and a blessing. To be able to be obedient in all things and the Lord knowing that how awesome. To have a tender heart and love others, to have a heart for the lost, the missionaries, the children of God. This is where our hearts need to be.

2Kings 22:1 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty and one years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jedidah, the daughter of Adaiah of Boscath.

2Kings 22:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.

2Kings 23:1 And the king sent, and they gathered unto him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem.

2Kings 23:2 And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the LORD.

2Kings 23:3 And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.

A Surrendered Heart

We as the children of the most high, of the King of kings, and Lord of lords, the Savior and Redeemer need to completely surrender to him. This life is not our own but HIS!!!

John 5:9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

What kind of heart do you have today?

1. If you have a sinnful heart, you need to trust Christ as your Saviour. Only he can pay for your sins and change your sinnful heart to a clean forgiven heart!

2. If you are here and know Christ as your Saviour, then you need to strive to keep your heart a trusting, tender, and surrendered heart so God can use you!

Without Jesus you will not spend eternity in Heaven but Hell!!!

THERE’S ROOM AT THE CROSS FOR YOU

The cross upon which Jesus died
Is a shelter in which we can hide
And its grace so free is sufficient for me
And deep is its fountain as wide as the sea.

There’s room at the cross for you
There’s room at the cross for you
Though millions have come, there’s still room for one
Yes there’s room at the cross for you.

Though millions have found him a friend
And have turned from the sins they have sinned
The Savior still waits to open the gates
And welcome a sinner before it’s too late.

There’s room at the cross for you
There’s room at the cross for you
Though millions have come, there’s still room for one
Yes there’s room at the cross for you.

The hand of my Savior is strong
And the love of my Savior is long
Through sunshine or rain, through loss or in gain,
The blood flows from Calvary to cleanse every stain.

There’s room at the cross for you
There’s room at the cross for you
Though millions have come, there’s still room for one
Yes there’s room at the cross for you.

Love and Prayers

Cheryl
