A Promise and A Prayer

saturday Lord is a strong tower

Have a Wonderful and Blessed Day!!! A Precious Promise and A Prayer!!!

Psalm 9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

Psalm 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

The Lord is so full of grace and mercy. We look for the world for help when feeling down, and low. The Lord has help when we truly look for him. Right here he tells us when we put our trust in thee he is our refuge. Notice he has no conditions on this. He doesn’t say only if you have been doing right, only if your rich, only if you haven’t been sinning, only if you haven’t missed church in the last year. People put conditions on each other, the world puts conditions on us, false teachers change the word, not the Lord, not our heavenly father. Remember its not works its GRACE. Don’t go in the world for comfort; go to the Father for comfort the one who loves you with true love.

Brightly beams our Father’s mercy from His lighthouse evermore,
But to us He gives the keeping of the lights along the shore.
Let the lower lights be burning! Send a gleam across the wave!
For to us He gives the keeping of the lights along the shore.
Dark the night of sin has settled,

loud the angry billows roar;
Eager eyes are watching, longing,

for the lights, along the shore.
Let the lower lights be burning!

Send a gleam across the wave!
Eager eyes are watching,

longing, for the lights, along the shore.

Trim your feeble lamp,

my brother, some poor sailor tempest tossed,
Trying now to make the harbor, in the darkness may be lost.
Let the lower lights be burning! Send a gleam across the wave!
Trying now to make the harbor, some poor sailor may be lost.

Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:

Luke 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

This here is showing once we have taken our last breath and are either in Heaven, or Hell thats where we are. No in between, no praying us out of anywhere. No talking the Father God into moving us somewhere different. This decision needs to be made NOW!!! If you have Lost family, friends, neighbors give them the gospel, pray for them, fast and pray. False teachers teach we can pray for the dead to be put into heaven they are LYING. False teachers teach there is a PURGATORY they are LYING, not anywhere in the word of God. No is the time of salvation. We need to have a heart for the lost. We need to get the gospel out.

Fight the good fight with all thy might;
Christ is thy Strength, and Christ thy Right;
Lay hold on life, and it shall be
Thy joy and crown eternally.

Run the straight race through God’s good grace,
Lift up thine eyes, and seek His face;
Life with its way before us lies,
Christ is the Path, and Christ the Prize.

Cast care aside, upon thy Guide,
Lean, and His mercy will provide;
Lean, and the trusting soul shall prove
Christ is its Life, and Christ its Love.

Faint not nor fear, His arms are near,
He changeth not, and thou art dear.
Only believe, and thou shalt see
That Christ is all in all to thee.

Love and Prayers
