There Will Be a New Heaven and A New Earth!!!

friday blessing Isaiah 65 17

Have A Wonderful and Blessed day!!! A New Heaven And New Earth!!!

Isaiah 65:16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Isaiah 65:18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Isaiah 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

Isaiah 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

Isaiah 65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

Isaiah 65:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

Isaiah 65:23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Isaiah 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

Just as much as one knows about the future in the same way no one knows much about the future. The world views the future with great uncertainty. The believer views the future with God’s great certainty. All around us are many who worry much about what might happen or not happen in the future. As believers there is comfort in knowing that God controls the future of all things, especially the blessings for his believers.

1Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

By grace, God reveals that heaven is our home. Believers need or should be, look ahead to the best of God yet to be enjoyed. We need to keep in mind “This World Is Not Our Home”.

GOD’S BEST IS YET TO COME.

*Jubilant Joy.

*Perfect peace.

I. GOD’S BEST – JUBILANT JOY

A. Isaiah was God’s prophet. God called Isaiah. God sent Isaiah to God’s people with his word.

Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

a. Everything will be new the old will be gone.

b. Sins will no longer be remembered.

Isaiah 65:18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold,

1. Earthly praises come to end. Man is mortal. People can only rejoice forever in heaven.

2. Verses 18b, 19a. The Lord will delight in Jerusalem. God’s people will be a joy to him.

18b: I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Isaiah 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

(a. This can only happen in heaven. b. On earth mankind is sinful, not a joy to God.)

C. Verse 19b. There will be joy upon joy upon joy in heaven. The old order of things is gone.

D. On this side of heaven all our joys are tempered with sorrow. Why is that? Why do we not always experience jubilant joy? The main reason our joy is diluted is because of sin. All of our thoughts and words and actions are contaminated by sin. We cannot escape sin. When Adam and Eve sinned the perfect creation of God changed forever. Thorns, thistles, pain, suffering, and sorrow entered into the once perfect world. Our world is no longer perfect.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 14:13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.

Proverbs 14:14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

We like to come up with our plans and believe they will bring us joy. We want our efforts to work out for our good. However anything this fllesh does on its own fails. Everything earthly eventually leads to death. Heartache and grief infects our lives even in the midst of joy. Our Fathers promise of joy will come as he is not capable of lying. However often times we miss out due to ourself. We get in the way, we try to go over the Lords head (which is impossible, and stupid). We maniupliate circumstances.

We ought to rejoice when a believer dies. For that believer has left behind all sorrow and sadness. That believer enjoys the perfect, jubilant joy that every believer desires. In the midst of that joy there is still sorrow at the loss of a loved one.We put grief behind us by looking ahead to what is yet to come.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Perfect peace may seem like a term that belongs to believers in heaven. It is. But God’s perfect peace is also already another blessing to benefit believers in this world during our earthly life. Jesus gathered his disciples together in the upper room on that last night. Jesus gives his very body and blood to them in the Lord’s Supper. Jesus’ body and blood in, with, and under the bread and wine was given for them for the forgiveness of sins. The next day, Good Friday, Jesus would be crucified. Jesus explains all these things to the disciples. Jesus gives to them a peace — the peace that the world does not and cannot give to them.

John 16:31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?

John 16:32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

The perfect peace that our gracious God freely gives to every believer is the assurance of the forgiveness of sins. God’s perfect peace is ours by grace through faith. The whole world around us is troubled. There are and always will be wars and rumors of wars. Every other news story tells about how “the sky is falling”. One industry after another fails. How people are murdering innocent little babies, family members killing their own families. Parents changing their babies sex. What next?!? The world does not give anyone the peace that they truly need. By grace we have been saved. By grace God’s peace is ours. By grace God’s peace is perfect because of the innocent sufferings and death of Christ our Savior. “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (ROMANS 5:1). We have peace with God through Christ – Christ alone. Jesus Christ is our perfect peace today.

Remember no MEDICATION, no HIGH, no FORNICATION, no sin WILL EVER GIVE YOU THE peace OUR PRECIOUS LORD GIVES TO US. THE WORLDLY THINGS WILL GO AWAY, BURN UP, DISAPPEAR.

If your Not Saved come to Salvation:

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Give Me Joy In My Heart Hymn

Give me joy in my heart, keep me praising,
Give me joy in my heart, I pray;
Give me joy in my heart, keep me praising,
Keep me praising till the break of day:

Sing hosanna, sing hosanna,
Sing hosanna to the King of kings.
Sing hosanna, sing hosanna,
Sing hosanna to the King.

Give me peace in my heart, keep me loving,
Give me peace in my heart, I pray;
Give me peace in my heart, keep me loving,
Keep me loving till the break of day:

Sing hosanna, sing hosanna,
Sing hosanna to the King of kings.
Sing hosanna, sing hosanna,
Sing hosanna to the King.

Give me love in my heart, keep me serving,
Give me love in my heart, I pray;
Give me love in my heart, keep me serving,
Keep me serving till the break of day:

Sing hosanna, sing hosanna,
Sing hosanna to the King of kings.
Sing hosanna, sing hosanna,
Sing hosanna to the King.

LOVE AND PRAYERS

CHERYL
