Forget Yesterday Don’t Think Of Tomorrow!!!

This is the Day the Lord has made

Have a Wonderful and Blessed Day!!!

Psalm 118:23 This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Psalm 118:26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD. Love & Prayers

Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Jesus repeated this verse.
A day planned. God has a plan for this day. Have you prayed for it? Do you know God’s will for today? What will you do for God?
A day provided. God will provide your needs. What is your greatest need? What is your greatest prayer? What is your greatest expectation?
A day in His presence. He is in you, with you, protecting you, and guiding you. What will you do about His presence? How will His presence change you?
Children know how to live in the moment. Little awareness of yesterday or tomorrow.
Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Some people live in the past; have little influence on the future.
Some people live in the future, have little influence on today.
Both are wrong, we are to live in today. We are to let go of yesterday, it is done can’t do anything to change it.
Today is the most important day of your life; it’s all you’ve got. We are not promised tomorrow
Living by faith is managing your life by purpose every minute.
YESTERDAY
Philippians 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

What Most We Forget
Failures, Guilt, Sin
Others unfaithfulness
Broken dreams
1. Yesterday is foundational to us all.
2. Therefore: learn from it, build on it, do better than it.
3. Next thank God for its influence, your weakness, your strengths, and your direction.
4. You can’t undo yesterday, don’t fight it, and take advantage of it.
5. Those living in yesterday are filled with regrets.
C. TODAY IS THE TOMORROW YOU PLANNED FOR YESTERDAY
1. Be clean, healthy and positive.
1John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

2. Be relational, happy and growing.
Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

3. You can change yourself, create new dreams, and make new life plans.
4. God knows what you ought to do and go.
Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

5. God knows the difference between your needs and wants.
6. God will give you what you need. “As your day demands, so shall thy strength be”
Deuteronomy 33:25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.
7. Remember, you serve the God of the impossible.
D. HOW TO MAXIMIZE EVERYDAY
1. Begin with prayer and get your orders from The Lord.
2. Prioritize, can’t do everything and be everywhere.
3. Re-evaluate, what you had planned to do.
4. Excellence, I will never let my better be my best, and I’ll not rest till my better is my best.
5. Use time or lose time. You will never get back any lost minutes.
6. Get started early. First, do the hard work for inner growth; second, do the easy for happiness. Do both because they need to get done.
7. Time has two seasons, first a season to do things, and second, opportunities lost, you will
8. Live life forward, not backwards. The past was not as good as our memory. But the past is foundational to your future.
If you don’t like what you are now,
You can change your today.
Then your tomorrow will be better,
Because it will be built on an improved yesterday.
9. End each day with God.
a. Get forgiveness for sin. (1) know why you did it, (2) learn from it, (3) Determine not to do it again, (4) know what you will do differently
b. Pray for others.
If you have never really accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, would you do it right now?
John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

THERES ROOM AT THE CROSS FOR YOU
Mourner, wheresoever thou art,
At the cross there’s room!
Tell the burden of thy heart,
At the cross there’s room!
Tell it in thy Savior’s ear,
Cast away thine every fear,
Only speak, and He will hear;
At the cross there’s room!
Haste thee, wand’rer, tarry not,
At the cross there’s room!
Seek that consecrated spot;
At the cross there’s room!
Heavy laden, sore oppressed,
Love can soothe thy troubled breast;
In the Savior find thy rest;
At the cross there’s room!
Thoughtless sinner, come today;
At the cross there’s room!
Hark! the Bride and Spirit say,
At the cross there’s room!
Now a living fountain see,
Opened there for you and me,
Rich and poor, for bond and free,
At the cross there’s room!
Blessèd thought! For every one
At the cross there’s room!
Love’s atoning work is done;
At the cross there’s room!
Streams of boundless mercy flow,
Free to all who thither go;
Oh, that all the world might know
At the cross there’s room!

Love and prayers
Cheryl
