A New Creature!!!!

Thursday John 14

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! Brand New
After Salvation, Made Brand New; What things are different about you since salvation? The Lord tells us those who are in Christ are brand new creatures. We will do things differently as we are different than before salvation. I in no way am saying we will be fully matured over night. I in no way am saying we will not fall into sin any longer. However a miraculous transformation has taken place, a wonderful Spiritual event. Once salvation is found we become the son/daughter of the Mighty God. Some grow faster than others, some need more guidance than others. Do you know of a new Christian? If so help him grow. We need to look out for these new babes in Christ. We aren’t going to feed them a steak dinner as we wouldn’t feed our new-born child steak, but they need the milk of the word, and as a newborn milk is needed frequently, need encouragement often. As a newborn baby if you bring him home and don’t hold him, change him, get his milk he will not thrive and can die. A new Christian if not led properly can fall away and not thrive.
Have you changed since salvation? Ask yourself what you have done differently since salvation, do you enjoy the old ways still? Have you done away with the old ways? Does hanging out with the “Great Party People” still give you enjoyment? Does hanging with the old worldly friends embarrass you when seen by your family in Christ? Do you have the “I am saved so i am good no reason to give up my old ways”? If this is how you feel pray, ask a trusted brother/ sister in the Lord to pray with you.
Remember we are soppose to show the light of Christ its hard to do that while living in the dark ways. What ways are different than before salvation? Ask the Lord what changes you need to make. The old saying “Christians don’t have any fun” is a lie we really do have fun and its fun we can talk of, fun the Lord isn’t offended by. Fun that won’t kill us. Some of my best times have been with my Brethren and have never had to get up in the morning and say “What did I do.” When we can see the life changing blessings after salvation, the trials, tribulations, heartaches won’t hurt as bad.
We are Joined in Christ Romans 6:3-6; made alive Ephesians 2:1; made children of God 1 John 3:1-3; Justified before the Lord Romans 5:1; forgiven Colossians 1:14; Delivered from the powers of darkness Colossians 1:13; Loved by the Lord Ephesians 2:4; Indwelt by the Holy Spirit 1Corinthians 6:19; Christ now intercedes for us Hebrews 7:25.
2Corinthians 5:12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
2Corinthians 5:13 For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.
2Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
2Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
2Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
2Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
2Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Titus 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Titus 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore,
Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more,
But the Master of the sea, heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I.
Love lifted me! Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help
Love lifted me!
All my heart to Him I give, ever to Him I’ll cling
In His blessèd presence live, ever His praises sing,
Love so mighty and so true, merits my soul’s best songs,
Faithful, loving service too, to Him belongs.
Love lifted me! Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help
Love lifted me!
Souls in danger look above, Jesus completely saves,
He will lift you by His love, out of the angry waves.
He’s the Master of the sea, billows His will obey,
He your Savior wants to be, be saved today.
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found; was blind, but now I see.
‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved;
precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come;
’tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me, his word my hope secures;
he will my shield and portion be, as long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, and mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil, a life of joy and peace.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
bright shining as the sun, we’ve no less days to sing God’s praise than when we first begun.
I have found a friend in Jesus, He’s everything to me,
He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul;
The Lily of the Valley, in Him alone I see
All I need to cleanse and make me fully whole.
In sorrow He’s my comfort, in trouble He’s my stay;
He tells me every care on Him to roll.
⦁ He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star,
He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.
He all my grief has taken, and all my sorrows borne;
In temptation He’s my strong and mighty tow’r;
I have all for Him forsaken, and all my idols torn
From my heart and now He keeps me by His pow’r.
Though all the world forsake me, and Satan tempt me sore,
Through Jesus I shall safely reach the goal.
He will never, never leave me, nor yet forsake me here,
He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star,
He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.
While I live by faith and do His blessed will;
A wall of fire about me, I’ve nothing now to fear,
From His manna He my hungry soul shall fill.
Then sweeping up to glory to see His blessed face,
Where rivers of delight shall ever roll.

Love and Prayers
