Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Day~~~Love The Lord

To Have A Heart For The Lord God Almighty; The Lord’s comments, and observation of David’s heart (the most Beloved King of Israel) were of great pleasure in David as he said “David a man after his(God’s) own heart”. The Lord wants that from all his children. The Lord testified that David was a man who would do all His will. In other words, the important characteristic of a “heart for God” is a passion to obey Him. Not every act of the king’s life was as the Lord would have desired, but his true desire was to follow after the Lord our God. And David also knew what to do when he sinned. His prayer was that the Lord would search out any wicked way in him, clean it up, and help him get back on track to become the kind of person his Heavenly Father wanted him to be. David’s relationship with the Lord was his highest priority. Not only did he delight in God’s Word, but many of his intimate conversations with the Father are also recorded for us in the book of Psalms. As we can read in the Scriptures much is revealed of how David trusted the Lord in all the challenges of his life. This humble servant recognized that God alone was responsible for any greatness he achieved as king.
Becoming a man or woman with a heart for God is a valuable goal. Our aim should not be perfection(none of us will be perfect till heaven) but a consistent, growing relationship with the Lord. In the process, we will discover that our desires and interests align with the Lord’s will, and obeying Him will be our great delight. Our greatest desire should be to follow him daily, live for him daily, serve him daily. As we plainly see David was not perfect (a murderer, adulterer) but we can learn so much from this Beloved King of Israel. We also see that we can’t focus on bad and wrong we have done but move forward and try to make godly choices in every area of your life. Satan would have us convince ourselves with all the bad I have done I am not good enough to serve. Don’t give up we are almost there………
Acts 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

I’VE FOUND A FRIEND IN JESUS
I have found a friend in Jesus, He’s everything to me,
He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul;
The Lily of the Valley, in Him alone I see
All I need to cleanse and make me fully whole.
In sorrow He’s my comfort, in trouble He’s my stay;
He tells me every care on Him to roll.

He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star,
He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.
He all my grief has taken, and all my sorrows borne;
In temptation He’s my strong and mighty tower;
I have all for Him forsaken, and all my idols torn
From my heart and now He keeps me by His power.
Though all the world forsake me, and Satan tempt me sore,
Through Jesus I shall safely reach the goal.

He will never, never leave me, nor yet forsake me here,
While I live by faith and do His blessèd will;
A wall of fire about me, I’ve nothing now to fear,
From His manna He my hungry soul shall fill.
Then sweeping up to glory to see His blessèd face,
Where the rivers of delight shall ever roll.

Just a Closer Walk With Thee
Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea.
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
I am weak, but Thou art strong
Jesus, keep me from all wrong.
I’ll be satisfied as long
As I walk let me walk close to Thee
In this world of toil and snares,
If I falter, Lord, who cares?
Who but Thee my burden shares?
None but Thee, oh Lord, none but Thee.
When my feeble life is o’er
Time for me will be more no more
Guide me gently, safely o’er
To Thy kingdom shore to Thy shore
When my weary life is o’er
Pain and suff’ring are no more.
Who will lead me safely o’er
Canaan’s shore,
That sweet Canaan’s shore.

Love and Prayers
Cheryl
