A Promise and A Prayer!!!

monday blessing Psalm 90 11

Good Morning Have a Wonderful Day!!! A Precious Promise & A Precious Prayer!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;
Why did Jesus come here to this sin-cursed world? I have had people say many wrong things. I have heard to make life tough. To take away our fun. Some have even said why didn’t God just leave us alone we were fine. REALLY we have all been fine here? Always been war, murder, adultery, destruction of the innocent, and weaker. Ben we have been fine. How foolish our we as people, flesh, born into sin. Due to the fall in the garden we have needed a Savior. Jesus came here to save, not destroy. We destroy, those living for the enemy Satan have destroyed, the prideful destroy. If not for Jesus and his death on the cross we would all be destroyed for all eternity and suffering hell fire with no relief never but for all eternity. In the word we see the promise Jesus came to save and save is exactly what he does. How are we thanking him? What are we living for? Who are we pleasing daily?

Luke 9:55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
Luke 9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Matthew 1:22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Our Lord talks often of prayer in his word. So often we forsake prayer like its just a game or option. We wait till life is falling apart then go unto our Lord. Prayer is not just a vital part of a Christians life it is a privilege, a honor, and our communication with our Heavenly Father. Prayer is how we need to start our day, and end our day, and to do throughout our day. Don’t wait till life is giving nothing but lemons to call upon the Lord. Don’t wait till a prayer request comes in to call upon the Father. Don’t make pray about you go unto the Lord and just talk, give thanks, and say I love you my precious heavenly Father. Another point NEVER tell someone I will pray for you if have no intention to do so. Please keep the lines of communication open with the Father daily.

Psalm 5:1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
Psalm 5:2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
Psalm 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
Psalm 17:1 Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
Psalm 17:2 Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.

1Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore.
1Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
1Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1Thessalonians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.

SWEET HOUR OF PRAYER
Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
That calls me from a world of care,
And bids me at my Father’s throne
Make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
My soul has often found relief
And oft escaped the tempter’s snare
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!
Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
The joys I feel, the bliss I share,
Of those whose anxious spirits burn
With strong desires for thy return!
With such I hasten to the place
Where God my Savior shows His face,
And gladly take my station there,
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
Thy wings shall my petition bear
To Him whose truth and faithfulness
Engage the waiting soul to bless.
And since He bids me seek His face,
Believe His Word and trust His grace,
I’ll cast on Him my every care,
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
May I thy consolation share,
Till, from Mount Pisgah’s lofty height,
I view my home and take my flight:
This robe of flesh I’ll drop and rise
To seize the everlasting prize;
And shout, while passing through the air,
“Farewell, farewell, sweet hour of prayer!”

IN THE GARDEN
I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.
He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.
I’d stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.

Love and Prayers
Cheryl
