The Eagle :)

Tuesday blessing have a blessed day

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! Eagles

Eagles Depend Wholly Upon Air Currents; After realizing the Eagle which opens its wings and soars is dependent on the air currents to keep it skyward. I believe this may be why the Lord uses the Eagle to describe a relationship with him.

Contrary to the Eagles, we often beat our wings trying to be better Christians. We resolve to read the Bible more or to improve at keeping our temper. We try to escape old habits and temptations. But instead of flying to the mountaintops, we remain on the valley floor with tired wings. Often times giving up, and feeling hopeless.

This is because believers sometimes get confused about what a spiritually mature person looks like. We convince ourselves we can do this on our own. We watch other believers and believe they got to godliness all by their self. Without depending on the Lord we will never get anywhere. We must not try to get ahead without the Lord. We must not be so prideful that we send the Lord away and say “no thanks Lord I got this” if we are so prideful and foolish to do this then we really deserve some tribulation.

Spiritual maturity means recognizing that we do not change ourselves. Flesh is corrupt, and its vices cannot be stopped by any human means. But our omnipotent Father subdues believers’ human impulses through His Spirit. For example, God’s indwelling Spirit calms anger, gives us strength to not fall into temptation that comes to us daily, will give us an out on all we need not to have in our life. While others tire from trying to be good, the mature believer relies upon God and will “mount up with wings like eagles” We need to put pride far away and allow out selves to say “Lord help me a sinner, I can’t do this on my own” my corrupt flesh stops me all the way.

Isaiah reminds us that even young, strong, healthy, men stumble and grow weak. Anyone trying to change himself into a model Christian will burn out beating his wings against the world system and his own flesh. God didn’t make these human bodies, minds, or spirits to fly solo. He created us to soar on His strength. What we need to do is stop the “I can” “I will” “I am able” I I I I I I I and Say “with the Lord I ” we are in this corrupted flesh no matter how much we try we can’t without the Lord. Put away the sin of Pride and ask the Lord to help.
Do you know what took down Satan? It wasn’t strong drink, not adultery, not pornography, not stealing, it was PRIDE!!!!! Do you have the same sin problem Satan has????

FOLLOW ON
Down in the valley with my Savior I would go,
Where the flowers are blooming and the sweet waters flow;
Everywhere He leads me I would follow, follow on,
Walking in His footsteps till the crown be won.
Follow! follow! I would follow Jesus!
Anywhere, everywhere, I would follow on!
Follow! follow! I would follow Jesus!
Everywhere He leads me I would follow on!
Down in the valley with my Savior I would go,
Where the storms are sweeping and the dark waters flow;
With His hand to lead me I will never, never fear,
Danger cannot fright me if my Lord is near.
Down in the valley, or upon the mountain steep,
Close beside my Savior would my soul ever keep;
He will lead me safely in the path that He has trod,
Up to where they gather on the hills of God.
Follow! follow! I would follow Jesus!
Anywhere, everywhere, I would follow on!
Follow! follow! I would follow Jesus!
Everywhere He leads me I would follow on!
WHERE HE LEADS ME
I can hear my Savior calling,
I can hear my Savior calling,
I can hear my Savior calling,
“Take thy cross and follow, follow Me.”
Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow;
I’ll go with Him, with Him, all the way.
I’ll go with Him through the garden,
I’ll go with Him through the garden,
I’ll go with Him through the garden,
I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.
I’ll go with Him through the judgment,
I’ll go with Him through the judgment,
I’ll go with Him through the judgment,
I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.
He will give me grace and glory,
He will give me grace and glory,
He will give me grace and glory,
And go with me, with me all the way.
Love
Cheryl
