A Precious Promise And Prayer :)

Sunday give thanks for blessings

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

What can I even say. Not only has he done all this for us, sinners, filthy in every way before salvation in his eyes. Yet he went to that cross willingly, wanting to save each one of us whoever would want to come freely for salvation. Then he makes it so easy that a child can understand it. He could have asked anything for salvation he asks nothing but our trust in him. He puts no work into it, RELIGION puts all kind of complications, and buts into it, not Jesus. It is beyond my thinking that anybody could walk away from our Loving Lord Jesus Christ and say “No I don’t need him”. Or put their trust into RELIGION, or this world.

I love you, Lord
And I lift my voice
To worship You
Oh, my soul rejoice
Take joy, my King
In what You hear
Let it be a sweet
Sweet sound in Your ear
Oh, I love you, Lord
And I lift my voice
To worship You
Oh, my soul rejoice

Luke 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
Luke 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
Luke 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

I think of this story when people tell me they aren’t afraid of Hell; they will be having a beer party with all their friends. People really are fooling themselves when it comes to the things of truth. I also wonder if the rich man knew Lazarus’s name or cared what it was when he laid outside full of sores, with no food or water. He probably would not have allowed him to touch his water then. Why do we as people wait till it is too late on such important things then we want to beg for help. As saved, born-again child of the mighty God lets let people know of this rich man.

Are you trusting Jesus,
All along the way?
Does He grow more precious
To your heart each day?
Are you His disciple?
Test His Word and see,
He will give the Spirit more abundantly.
More abundantly,
More abundantly,
“That they might have life
And more abundantly”;
More abundantly,
More abundantly,
“That they might have life
And more abundantly.”
Love and Prayers

    ROMANS 10:9,10 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.
    For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
    It’s after you get saved that you realize how GREAT & AWESOME a gift He Freely Gave!
