Have A Wonderful and Blessed Day!!! The Word Of God!!!
Do You Love The word of God; One of the most beneficial things to do in this life is to read the word of God. Its so important to ask the Lord to give you a love for his word. If your new to the Holy Bible its far more successful to start in John, and read the Psalms read one every morning, and every evening. Many people decide “I am going to start reading the Bible” they start in Genesis and try to read through it. I am not saying this isn’t possible but unfortunately, we get overwhelmed, lost and give up.
Pray each time before reading and ask the Lord for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. When we develop a love for his word even the genealogies take on life. The Lord’s principles, commands lift off the page, he gave us his word for our own life, growth, standing on the truth. In Psalms we see how David is calling the word of God a lamp unto his feet, and a light for his path. We see in Nehemiah after the walls in Jerusalem were rebuilt the word was taken out and read aloud to all the people and all were brought to weeping because for years they longed to hear the word of God.
Have you discovered the sweetness of God’s word? Have you come to love his word, cherish his word? Until we are home in Heaven his word is how he talks to us. Staying grounded in the word of God is important to see truth, and to spot false doctrine trying to be brought to us. The word of God is his words for life unto us. We learn who the Lord truly is. We see what he loves, hates, his passions, his sadness, and we want to truly know our Savior don’t we? When we stand before the Lord we don’t want to feel shame when the Lord asks “why were you living in such a way” do you really want to say” I didn’t know it was wrong” the Lord will say it was in my word and for us to stand there in shame and brokenness and answer “Lord I never read your word”. If you struggle in this area ask the Lord for help. Ask a brother or sister in the Lord to help you.
He wrote this book for us. People died protecting this book for all would have it. Many People in foreign countries can’t read it and have to hide out to read his word, and us in America still have that privilege and right (maybe not for long). Stop taking the Lord’s Precious Holy word for granted, and DON’T EVER let someone read it for you and take it for granted they are giving you the truth.

2Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

THY WORD I HAVE HID IN MY HEART
Thy Word is a lamp to my feet,
A light to my path alway,
To guide and to save me from sin,
And show me the heav’nly way.
Thy Word have I hid in my heart,
That I might not sin against Thee;
That I might not sin, that I might not sin,
Thy Word have I hid in my heart.
Forever, O Lord, is Thy Word
Established and fixed on high;
Thy faithfulness unto all men
Abideth forever nigh.
At morning, at noon, and at night
I ever will give Thee praise;
For Thou art my portion, O Lord,
And shall be through all my days!
Thro’ Him Whom Thy Word hath foretold,
The Savior and Morning Star,
Salvation and peace have been brought
To those who have strayed afar.
THY WORD IS LIKE A GARDEN
Thy Word is like a garden, Lord, with flowers bright and fair;
And everyone who seeks may pluck a lovely cluster there.
Thy Word is like a deep, deep mine; and jewels rich and rare
Are hidden in its mighty depths for every searcher there.
Thy Word is like a starry host: a thousand rays of light
Are seen to guide the traveler and make his pathway bright.
Thy Word is like an armory, where soldiers may repair;
And find, for life’s long battle day, all needful weapons there.
Oh, may I love Thy precious Word, may I explore the mine,
May I its fragrant flowers glean, may light upon me shine!
Oh, may I find my armor there! Thy Word my trusty sword,
I’ll learn to fight with every foe the battle of the Lord.
