A Precious Promise and A Prayer

blessings for the day 5

Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! A Promise & Prayer!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;
Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Another reason Jesus Christ Came here to live as man (while here on earth was 100% God, 100% Man). To see more through our eyes as God the Father he never experienced things as us. However one thing Jesus never did was sin, fall, or fail the Father. We in the flesh do sin, fall, and fail the Father. We are told to come boldly to the throne of Grace that we can obtain mercy and find grace in time of need. Have you ever thought of how great a privileged, an honor this truly is. Our Lord is all holy, all righteousness and he allows us and wants us to come before his Holy Throne and talk to him, ask things from him, we are saved but still in this filthy flesh.

THANK HIM FOR THIS PRECIOUS PRIVLEDGE, AND DON’T EVER TAKE IT FOR GRANTED!!!!

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;
Job 40:1 Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,
Job 40:2 Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
Job 40:3 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
Job 40:4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
Job 40:5 Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.

Job is here confessing unto the LORD. We see a wonderful example in Job. He could be bitter blaming God for all that has happened in his life, and instead he is confessing sin. God knew his son Job when he allowed Satan to give him all the tribulations he gave Job. How many of us would have still love the LORD, and would want to still serve him after losing all their children on the same day, the body boils, all his cattle, etc.? What an awesome testimony.

VICTORY THROUGH GRACE
Conquering now and still to conquer, rideth a King in His might;
Leading the host of all the faithful into the midst of the fight;
See them with courage advancing, clad in their brilliant array,
Shouting the Name of their Leader, hear them exultingly say:

Not to the strong is the battle, not to the swift is the race,
Yet to the true and the faithful vict’ry is promised through grace.
Conquering now and still to conquer, who is this wonderful King?
Whence are the armies which He leadeth, while of His glory they sing?
He is our Lord and Redeemer, Savior and Monarch divine;
They are the stars that forever bright in His kingdom shall shine.
Conquering now and still to conquer, Jesus, Thou Ruler of all,
Thrones and their scepters all shall perish,
crowns and their splendor shall fall,
Yet shall the armies Thou leadest, faithful and true to the last,
Find in Thy mansions eternal rest, when their warfare is past.

VICTORY IN JESUS
I heard an old, old story,
How a Savior came from glory,
How He gave His life on Calvary
To save a wretch like me;
I heard about His groaning,
Of His precious blood’s atoning,
Then I repented of my sins
And won the victory.

O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought mE
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.
I heard about His healing,
Of His cleansing pow’r revealing.
How He made the lame to walk again
And caused the blind to see;
And then I cried, “Dear Jesus,
Come and heal my broken spirit,”
And somehow Jesus came and bro’t
To me the victory.
O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.

I heard about a mansion
He has built for me in glory.
And I heard about the streets of gold
Beyond the crystal sea;
About the angels singing,
And the old redemption story,
And some sweet day I’ll sing up there
The song of victory.
O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.

Love and Prayers
Cheryl
