Have A Wonderful Day!!! The Benefits Of Trusting The Lord!!!

The Lord’s Benefits Package; This world offers so many package deals, insurance packages, weight loss, restaurants meal deals, however nothing as beneficial, and healthy as the Lord’s plans. The Lord’s plans for you do not stop at salvation. His plan for us is that we become conformed to the likeness of His Son, and the tool He uses to achieve His purpose is the Holy King James Bible His Holy word.
The foundation is laid with the teaching of scripture’s basic truths.

These fundamental doctrines about the Lord’s character and work anchor our souls during the storms of life, the trials, and tribulations, and protect us from deception, from false teaching, from the world. Since we all have certain flesh issues, perfection is impossible, and we at times fall into sin. Then scripture offers reproof, and we sense conviction about our wrongdoing. This is followed by correction. The Lord never convicts us and leaves us in the mess we have made. He provides the instruction that we need to make things right. This is why being in the word daily is so important. This is why fellowship with like-minded believers is so important, this is why being in a bible believing church is so important.
The final step is training in righteousness.

Think of this as a one-on-one discipleship course with the Word of God. If we truly follow the instruction of scripture, we’ll grow in obedience and godliness and eventually will find that we need less reproof and correction.
Full participation in the Lord’s scriptural benefit package involves three steps:

1) Read and Study the Bible each day
2) Believe everything the Lord says in His Word not just the parts that appeal to you.
3) Obey what the Lord says. You will become equipped and qualified to fulfill His purpose for you.

2Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Hebrews 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Hebrews 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

2Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
2Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
Romans 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Romans 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

2Corinthians 2:8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.
2Corinthians 2:9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
2Corinthians 2:10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
2Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
I LOVE YOU LORD
Though I love You, Lord,
My life seems all deformed.
I give my life to You—
Then drift away.
Lord, may I ask You that You’d draw me yet again,
And keep me running after You. Lord, I’ve seen Your purpose.
Your heart’s unveiled to me.
Now I’d just like to see You gain me fully.
Though You I often limit
And fail by compromise,
Keep me in the index of Your eyes.
Lord, I want Your best.
I want Your full blessing.
I don’t want any less,
Though good it be.
Have mercy, Lord, to push, to pull, lay hold of me.
Keep me still running toward the prize.
Mold me, shape me, Lord.
Be my reality.
Even break my heart,
If it has to be.
I’m desperate, Lord, that You would have Your way with me.
Others could touch You then through me.
Set my heart aflame.
Don’t let me stay the same.
Don’t let things remain
Which now grieve You.
My life I give to You and all I’ve claimed as mine.
May I just hold, Lord, unto You.

I WANT TO BE LIKE JESUS
I have one deep, supreme desire,
that I may be like Jesus.
To this I fervently aspire,
that I may be like Jesus.
I want my heart His throne to be,
so that a watching world may see
His likeness shining forth in me.
I want to be like Jesus.

He spent His life in doing good;
I want to be like Jesus.
In lowly paths of service trod;
I want to be like Jesus.
He sympathised with hearts distressed,
He spoke the words that cheered and blessed,
He welcomed sinners to His breast.
I want to be like Jesus.

A holy, harmless life He led;
I want to be like Jesus.
The Father’s will, His drink and bread;
I want to be like Jesus.
And when at last He comes to die,
“Forgive them, Father,” hear Him cry
for those who taunt and crucify.
I want to be like Jesus.

O perfect life of Christ, my Lord!
I want to be like Jesus.
My recompense and my reward,
that I may be like Jesus.
His Spirit fill my hungering soul,
His power all my life control.
My deepest prayer, my highest goal,
that I may be like Jesus.
Love and Prayers
Cheryl
