Have a Wonderful and Blessed day!!! Does God Really Care!!!

Exodus 3:1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.
Exodus 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
Exodus 3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
Exodus 3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
Exodus 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
Exodus 3:6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
Exodus 3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
Exodus 3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
Exodus 3:9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
Exodus 3:10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
Exodus 3:11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
Exodus 3:12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

Have you ever had a time in your life where you questioned God? Of course we all have! There are times when we feel like God is so far away no way can he help me now. We find ourselves so consumed with grief or troubles and we wonder if He cares at all! We start to question him, his word and his promises. We need to always remember he can’t lie so his promises are true.

Let’s just be honest, there are things that happen in this life that we simply don’t understand. We don’t understand why an infant dies for no reason. We don’t understand why he seems to allow adults to harm children. We don’t understand why a young father loses his life at an early age. Why is a husband, father and grandfather is taken from us without notice? Why does mother with 2 young children die in an automobile accident? Why was the drunk driver that killed them able to walk away without a scratch. Why do tornadoes, hurricanes and earthquakes occur and hundreds are left dead and thousands are injured and homeless? Why do we face financial struggles and can’t seem to get ahead?

God’s people have faced difficulty throughout history. As we arrive at our text we see that God’s people are in bondage and facing some terrible times. There is no doubt that they too questioned if God really cared about them! As we read these few verses we will see not only is God there but also that He does care!!! Exodus records one of the greatest miracles in the Old Testament, The deliverance of The Children of Israel from Egypt.

What causes cancer, illness, murder, earthquakes, hurricanes: SIN!!! When Adam and Eve disobeyed in the garden the curses began. The Lord never tells us life here on earth will be trouble free, never did he say we will never face tribulation. He tells us we will face trials here. Also some of our choices cause harm to us. Misusing our finances can cause major problems, how we take care of our bodies can effect our health.

Sometimes the lord uses these trials to get ahold of us. Sometimes when we become sick or a loved one does it brings us back to him. Sometiems when we as a child of God gets sick or struggles the world watches how we handle it. This can be a great witnessing tool.

The Lord also gives many amazing miracles some in Exodus are:
1. God calls His servant Moses to accomplish this great task
Exodus 3:1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

2. The burning bush was not consumed. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire.

3. Moses was afraid.

4. God comforts Moses concerning His people.
Exodus 3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

There are some verses here in this chapter that show; YES GOD DOES CARE.
The Bible makes it clear that GOD IS THERE.
I. God Sees our Affliction.

If you are a child of God today, no matter what you are facing…GOD KNOWS ABOUT IT! He knew where His children were in Egypt and he knows now in America and all over the world. Even if we want to hide gfrom our Father we have no way of doing so.
God saw HIS people. He has known and sees his children and all things from the beginning of time and continues to see now.
“He sees the heartaches”
“He sees the tears”
“He sees the burdens, ills and fears”
“He sees the grief and despair”
“He loves His own and longs to carry every care”
Consider the life of an Israelite. They were bound in slavery. They worked under unbearable conditions. Their sons were born to die at the King’s command. All of these issues went on for many years, They were discouraged and probably wondered “what is the use in crying out to God?”
Psalm 34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
Psalm 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalm 34:5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
Psalm 34:6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Psalm 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Just because the Lord doesn’t come and deliever us immedialtly does not say “He doesn’t Care” or “He doesn’t exist”.
Jesus came as a man of sorrows; He knows what you are going through!!! We must tell Jesus because He sympathizes. Others may offer to console us, and it is a Christian ministry to do so; but when all have left us and we are alone, it is to the Lord Jesus that we must turn for abiding sympathy and consolation.
He became man and faced the same things we face:
Sorrows
Grief
Death
Loss
He did all he did for us. Without him going to the cross we would never see Heaven. So We are so wrong in thinking “He doesn’t love me”, “He doesn’t care”.
Our timing is not his timing. His ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not as our thoughts.

Two more thoughts.
The Lord knows all of the wickedness in this world and he will take care of it. Remember just as he gave us time to repent he gives that to all. YES it angers him to see all that is happening in this world.

The world has done their best to say we don’t need you Lord so he let the wicked minds take over Satan is in charge right now. Believe me He will be back and heads will roll. His wrath is powerful.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
AND CAN IT BE
And can it be that I should gain
an interest in the Saviour’s blood?
Died he for me, who caused his pain?
For me, who him to death pursued?
Amazing love! How can it be
that thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

‘Tis mystery all: the Immortal dies!
Who can explore his strange design?
In vain the first-born seraph tries
to sound the depths of love divine.
‘Tis mercy all! Let earth adore,
let angel minds enquire no more.
He left his Father’s throne above —
so free, so infinite his grace —
emptied himself of all but love,
and bled for Adam’s helpless race.
‘Tis mercy all, immense and free;
for, O my God, it found out me!
Long my imprisoned spirit lay
fast bound in sin and nature’s night;
thine eye diffused a quickening ray;
I woke, the dungeon flamed with light;
my chains fell off, my heart was free,
I rose, went forth, and followed thee.
No condemnation now I dread;
Jesus, and all in him, is mine!
Alive in him, my living Head,
and clothed in righteousness divine,
bold I approach the eternal throne,
and claim the crown, through Christ, my own
Love and Prayers
