Have a Wonderful and Blessed Day!!! Free!!!

I Am My Own Person; How often have we heard these words? next time we hear them ask them “how do you figure that”, no one is free we all serve someone. We are obedient to the one we obey, we are bound to the one we are following. If we are our own person and not following Christ and Master of our life then we are enslaved to sin and Satan is our Leader as he is the Master of Sin. Don’t think for a minute we are free and are not our own master.

Romans 6:16 says we are the slaves of the one who we obey slaves of either sin or obedience to the Lord. Our heavenly Father’s prescription for this unhealthy situation is to submit to Him. But we may reason this way: If I give the Lord control, then I lose it—and that’s scary. The Lord could lead me somewhere I don’t want to go, thats far better than to go somewhere that the Lord doesn’t want you to be. When doubt and fear seeps into your heart, stop and consider the Lord’s character and motive: He is holy and sinless; he would never do anything to cause harm and damage. He has infinite wisdom, perfect knowledge, and an eternal perspective; He loves you and has the power to work all things for your good. Now compare your credentials to His. Who do you think would make a better master of your life?
We grieve the Spirit by allowing sin in our life and stifle Him by saying no to the Lord. Do not be discouraged by the magnitude of this call to submission. We can’t attain sinless perfection on earth, but with each step of obedience, sin’s hold will lessen. Press on you’ll soon begin to live in the freedom of enslavement to the most amazing Master you’ve ever known. The Heavenly Father created us he has our back, He loves us, he sent his only begotten Son to die on the cross at Cavary for us by saying no to sin you show the awesome Heavenly Father love and he is the one who deserves it.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
James 4:9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Romans 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Romans 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
1Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore.
1Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
1Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1Thessalonians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.
AT CALVARY
Years I spent in vanity and pride,
Caring not my Lord was crucified,
Knowing not it was for me He died on Calvary.
Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
Pardon there was multiplied to me;
There my burdened soul found liberty at Calvary.
By God’s Word at last my sin I learned;
Then I trembled at the law I’d spurned,
Till my guilty soul imploring turned to Calvary.
Now I’ve given to Jesus everything,
Now I gladly own Him as my King,
Now my raptured soul can only sing of Calvary!
Oh, the love that drew salvation’s plan!
Oh, the grace that brought it down to man!
Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary!
WALKING IN THE LIGHT
The Spirit lives to set us free,
walk, walk in the light.
He binds us all in unity,
walk, walk in the light.
Walk in the light,
walk in the light,
walk in the light,
walk in the light of the Lord
Jesus promised life to all,
walk, walk in the light.
The dead were wakened by his call,
walk, walk in the light.
He died in pain on Calvary,
walk, walk in the light,
to save the lost like you and me,
walk, walk in the light.
We know his death was not the end,
walk, walk in the light.
He gave his Spirit to be our friend,
walk, walk in the light.
By Jesus’ love our wounds are healed,
walk, walk in the light.
The Father’s kindness is revealed,
walk, walk in the light.
The Spirit lives in you and me,
walk, walk in the light.
His light will shine for all to see,
walk, walk in the light
