Have A Blessed Thursday!!! Praise Him!!!

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

We are to Praise the Lord daily, not just on good days, happy days, but on days when everything is falling apart. I could name three Pastors right off the top of my head, who are right now are going through some very difficult times. One who already had much on his plate and during service got bad news last night. Do you suppose he gave up said “You are all on your own, I am going home the enemy is picking on me, and I am giving up, the Lord is not helping me, he is just not there”!!! They are all still Praising the Lord, trusting him, and singing hymns unto him.
Sometimes, life goes by so fast and passes us by, then we look back, we realize we got so caught up with self, and things of the world we left out the most important thing. We will wish that we had praised Our Precious Savior more, given him honor, praise due him.
To praise God is to acknowledge him for all he has done, and for all he is.

His goodness, His sovereignty, His holiness, His salvation, His grace
Our trouble comes in not finding the time to praise Him, but taking the time to praise Him. We all say but we have no time. Well how often did you watch television? How often did you exercise for that new body? How often did you go out to dinner? How often did you waste on the computer doing nothing? Time spent driving places take that time Praising him, call upon him, thank him for your salvation, thank him for all you have, sing praises to him. Tell him off his greatness.
Is something missing in your Christian life? Try praise.
Is discouragement getting the best of you? Try praise.

He doesn’t just want us to come when we want something, or when “Your World” has disappointed you, so then he is all that’s left.
When we praise, we take the focus off of this life and put it onto God.
That is always a win-win situation.When God is pleased, things go better.We should praise God with our lives, but we should also praise Him with our lips. Our mouth can reveal a great deal about us: When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
How often do you praise the Lord?

Is your heart and are your lips prone to praise or knock down?
When was the last time you just told God that you loved Him?

Sometimes we need to go in prayer just to praise, and thank the Lord.
God is in tune with a life that praises Him and He is certainly worthy of every ounce of praise we can give Him. Remember both are very important, saying and singing praise, however living a praise-filled life is very important to our Precious Savior.
Psalm 8:9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
Proverbs 16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
Proverbs 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
Proverbs 16:7 When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Proverbs 16:8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
Psalm 143:10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Revelation 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
1Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Peter 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
O praise ye the Lord! praise Him in the height;
Rejoice in His Word, ye angels of light;
Ye heavens, adore Him by Whom ye were made,
And worship before Him in brightness arrayed.
O praise ye the Lord! Praise Him upon earth,
In tuneful accord, ye sons of new birth;
Praise Him Who hath brought you His grace from above,
Praise Him Who hath taught you to sing of His love.
O praise ye the Lord! All things that give sound;
Each jubilant chord re-echo around;
Loud organs, His glory forth tell in deep tone,
And sweet harp, the story of what He hath done.
O praise ye the Lord! Thanksgiving and song
To Him be outpoured all ages along!
For love in creation, for Heaven restored,
For grace of salvation, O praise ye the Lord!
O praise ye the Lord and sing a new song,
Amid all His saints His praises prolong;
The praise of their Maker His people shall sing,
And children of Zion rejoice in their King.
With timbrel and harp and joyful acclaim,
With gladness and mirth, sing praise to His Name,
For God in His people His pleasure doth seek,
With robes of salvation He clotheth the meek.
In glory exult, ye saints of the Lord;
With songs in the night, high praises accord;
Go forth in His service, be strong in His might,
To conquer all evil and stand for the right.
For this is His Word: His saints shall not fail,
But over the earth their power shall prevail;
All kingdoms and nations shall yield to their sway.
To God give the glory and praise Him for aye.
Sing praise to God Who reigns above, the God of all creation,
The God of power, the God of love, the God of our salvation.
With healing balm my soul is filled and every faithless murmur stilled:
To God all praise and glory.
What God’s almighty power hath made His gracious mercy keepeth,
By morning glow or evening shade His watchful eye ne’er sleepeth;
Within the kingdom of His might, Lo! all is just and all is right:
To God all praise and glory.
The Lord is never far away, but through all grief distressing,
An ever present help and stay, our peace and joy and blessing.
As with a mother’s tender hand, God gently leads the chosen band:
To God all praise and glory.
Thus, all my toilsome way along, I sing aloud Thy praises,
That earth may hear the grateful song my voice unwearied raises.
Be joyful in the Lord, my heart, both soul and body bear your part:
To God all praise and glory.
Let all who name Christ’s holy Name give God all praise and glory;
Let all who own His power proclaim aloud the wondrous story!
Cast each false idol from its throne, for Christ is Lord, and Christ alone:
To God all praise and glory.
