Relationships NOT Social Networking

Wednesday

Have A Wonderful and Blessed Day!!! Relationships!!!

Brothers and Sisters We Need To Open Up; Social networking is big business. Things like Facebook, e-mail, and texting reveal our hunger to connect with one another, I believe we like it because we can safely connect, say things we are nervous to say in person, and make friends easier. The fall of Adam and Eve usually brings to mind the disconnection that sin created between the Lord, and mankind, but it also affected all human relationships from that time onward. As a result, fear and pride threaten to keep us in bondage to isolation and self-protection. We get into habits of self protection, habits of I will hurt you before you hurt me. We also get into habits of building walls so keep others out. The sad part is we hide in our realm of unreality which includes keeping the Lord out, we can’t see him and he can’t see us. This is very dangerous.

Sadly, many homes, workplaces, and churches are gatherings of strangers. Even husbands and wives can live in the same house without really knowing each other. In some cases when asked to list facts of facts of spouses, parents, and our Precious Lord people failed miserably. To some degree, whether we are known by others is our very own responsibility, to know the Lord is our own responsibility. He has given us his word, he asks us to pray, to have fellowship with like-minded believers. Even the friendliest person may not be able to penetrate someone else’s self-erected walls. To be known, we must risk opening up and letting others in.

Emotional walls can be hard to recognize. Unforgiveness, a sense of unworthiness, and fear of rejection are common reasons for self-protective barriers. Ask the Lord to reveal any ways that you’re shutting someone out. He will help you demolish all hindrances to your relationship with Him and others. Another problem in this world is all the electronics, the social media. Many will text, email, Facebook rather than talk, get together, have fellowship. Shut down the electronics for a while do as they did before social media. Try being a real person. Besides The Lord is not on Facebook, he doesn’t text, he has no email account. I believe Satan has a big part of Social network to put a wedge between us and the Lord, Us and our family, Us, and our Spouse. Please Let others in, don’t let the computer, the smart phone, the iPad take over your world…..

2Corinthians 6:11 O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
2Corinthians 6:12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
2Corinthians 6:13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
2Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2Corinthians 7:2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.
2Corinthians 7:3 I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you.
Philippians 1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
Philippians 1:4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
Philippians 1:5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Philippians 1:7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
1John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
1John 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
I’VE FOUND A FRIEND IN JESUS
I have found a friend in Jesus, He’s everything to me,
He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul;
The Lily of the Valley, in Him alone I see
All I need to cleanse and make me fully whole.
In sorrow He’s my comfort, in trouble He’s my stay;
He tells me every care on Him to roll.
He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star,
He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.
He all my grief has taken, and all my sorrows borne;
In temptation He’s my strong and mighty tower;
I have all for Him forsaken, and all my idols torn
From my heart and now He keeps me by His power.
Though all the world forsake me, and Satan tempt me sore,
Through Jesus I shall safely reach the goal.
He will never, never leave me, nor yet forsake me here,
While I live by faith and do His blessèd will;
A wall of fire about me, I’ve nothing now to fear,
From His manna He my hungry soul shall fill.
Then sweeping up to glory to see His blessèd face,
Where the rivers of delight shall ever roll.
WALKING IN THE LIGHT
The Spirit lives to set us free,
walk, walk in the light.
He binds us all in unity,
walk, walk in the light.
Walk in the light,
walk in the light,
walk in the light,
walk in the light of the Lord
Jesus promised life to all,
walk, walk in the light.
The dead were wakened by his call,
walk, walk in the light.
He died in pain on Calvary,
walk, walk in the light,
to save the lost like you and me,
walk, walk in the light.
We know his death was not the end,
walk, walk in the light.
He gave his Spirit to be our friend,
walk, walk in the light.
By Jesus’ love our wounds are healed,
walk, walk in the light.
The Father’s kindness is revealed,
walk, walk in the light.
The Spirit lives in you and me,
walk, walk in the light.
His light will shine for all to see,
walk, walk in the light

Love and Prayers
