HAVE A BLESSED Day!!! A Precious Promise And Prayer!!!!
PRAYER REQUEST: I will be out of town for a few days as my oldest son Charlie is having neck surgery tomorrow morning (Tuesday June 18). Please pray for him that this is successful and he is in no more pain and can go about his life as he was before he got hurt.
Pray for the Doctors. Pray that while at the hospital I can reach out to others. Please pray for traveling mercies.
A PRECIOUS PROMISE:
Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
(A Buckler is a round shield held by a grip and sometimes having straps through which the arm is passed. Any means of defense, protection.)
Once again another promise of the Lord to protect us who put our trust in him. PLEASE remember He cannot lie, unlike us those in the flesh can just lie over any little ole thing our Precious Lord Jesus Christ can’t lie or sin in anyway. Jesus cannot make a promise and break it. This means when we see a promise in his word don’t read it and then think “sure Lord I can’t believe that one” He is perfect and righteous in everyway.
A PRECIOUS PRAYER:
Luke 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
Luke 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
We see here that when we pray it doesn’t have to be a ten minute prayer, it doesn’t have to be flowery, it just have to be from our heart, has to be true, and not what others told us to say. NEVER pray pointing out others sin and say “I am not as sinful as my brother/sister but forgive me” pray humbly, and true.
1Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore.
1Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
1Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1Thessalonians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.
1Thessalonians 5:20 Despise not prophesyings.
1Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
1Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
1Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Thessalonians 5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
VICTORY THRU GRACE
Conquering now and still to conquer, rideth a King in His might;
Leading the host of all the faithful into the midst of the fight;
See them with courage advancing, clad in their brilliant array,
Shouting the Name of their Leader, hear them exultingly say:
Not to the strong is the battle, not to the swift is the race,
Yet to the true and the faithful vict’ry is promised through grace.
Conquering now and still to conquer, who is this wonderful King?
Whence are the armies which He leadeth, while of His glory they sing?
He is our Lord and Redeemer, Savior and Monarch divine;
They are the stars that forever bright in His kingdom shall shine. Conquering now and still to conquer, Jesus, Thou Ruler of all,
Thrones and their scepters all shall perish, crowns and their splendor shall fall,
Yet shall the armies Thou leadest, faithful and true to the last,
Find in Thy mansions eternal rest, when their warfare is past.
WONDERFUL WORDS OF LIFE
Sing them over again to me, wonderful words of life,
Let me more of their beauty see, wonderful words of life;
Words of life and beauty teach me faith and duty.
Beautiful words, wonderful words, wonderful words of life,
Beautiful words, wonderful words, wonderful words of life.
Christ, the blessèd One, gives to all wonderful words of life;
Sinner, list to the loving call, wonderful words of life;
All so freely given, wooing us to heaven.
Sweetly echo the Gospel call, wonderful words of life;
Offer pardon and peace to all, wonderful words of life;
Jesus, only Savior, sanctify us forever.
GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.
“Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!”
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
Love and Prayers
