Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! Wisdom

In The Book Of James Readers Were Told To Show His Works, Out Of A Good Conversation With Meekness Of Wisdom; James tells us that those who are truly wise reveal their wisdom by the things they do. As we look at how the world’s wisdom compares with God’s wisdom, we
can make an informed decision about how to live our lives.

Worldly Wisdom
– worldly wisdom: bitter envy, strife
– jealousy, divisiveness
– ambition, self promotion.
– earthly (world), sensual (flesh), devilish (devil)
– confusion and every evil work
Godly Wisdom
– godly wisdom: purity (lit. holiness)
– holiness: being like God
– no self-seeking.
– peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated, full of mercy, full of good fruit, without partiality, without hypocrisy.
– fruit of righteousness, peace
“endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
– the work of the church cannot progress without the practice of Godly wisdom.

What are you doing for the good of the body of Christ? Are you demonstrating godly wisdom by the things that you do? Do your actions match your words? It is one thing to say that you love Jesus, but it is entirely something else to prove it. Not that we get saved by good works, however after salvation people watch us as if they are carrying around a microscope. So we do need to be careful on what we do, say, act, and dress.
Today, the problem is not that we don’t have enough Biblical advice. People shut you down when you talk of advice from the KJV Bible. They will listen to wisdom and advice from their favorite false TV Pastor, TV Doctor, and Personality some they feel have better advice than the Lord himself. I have got in trouble for not agreeing with Oprah, and Joel Osteen. I thought I was going to get strung up.

How do you know which advice to take? How do you know which path to pursue? Wisdom is the ability to discern the best path from amid all the other ideas as we deal with the everyday struggles and problems of life. If you would like that, but realize you don’t have that now, let me share with you. . .There is only one path, one book to trust the KJV Bible, and One God to trust, if your trusting Television Doctors, Entertainers, False Pastors, your in for many problems. If your willing to defend false teachers more than Jesus your in trouble.

Good News For The “Wisdom-Impaired”:
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.

Wisdom is learned.
Proverbs is a book written for wisdom, for us to go, and learn of life and how we need to live it. It’s for people “to know wisdom and knowledge. A lot of people presume wisdom is something you’re born with, but that’s not true. Why would you write a book filled with wisdom if wisdom was something either you had or you didn’t? No, it says this book was written that people might know wisdom. Wisdom is learned, which of course means it is open to anyone with a willingness to learn.

Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
Proverbs 2:7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
Proverbs 2:8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
Pro 2:9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
Proverbs 2:10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
Proverbs 2:11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
Proverbs 2:12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
Proverbs 2:13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
Proverbs 2:14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
Proverbs 2:15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:

Wisdom begins with a right relationship with God. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” You’ve got to have a solid foundation of a proper understanding of and relationship with God if you want to be wise. Now, where do you go from there? When you are reading your Bible faithfully you get wisdom, pray, ask the Lord for wisdom as you open his word.

The Bible is your teacher and tutor. It provides the practical information you need understand to grow in wisdom. Prayer makes the application to your life. Time with God provides the moments when that Bible knowledge can move from your head down to your heart and you can deal with the specific problems, shortcomings, and sins in your life, if your carrying around unrepented sin in your heart, unforgiveness you need toy take care of that stuff first. If you study the Bible but never pray, you’ll likely have a lot of head knowledge about what wisdom looks like, but it won’t be applied to your life. If your pray but never study the Bible, you may well see the problems you have, but chances are you may not grow as you like. We need to be in total fellowship with Our Lord. We need prayer, reading, studying, then we grow in wisdom.
What Are the Marks of Those with the Gift of Knowledge?
1. They enjoy deep Bible study.
2. They are intrigued with certain passages. Mainly on wisdom, knowledge, growth, forgiveness.
3. They research the Bible in a desire to know as much as they can.
4. They occasionally find treasures the rest of us miss.

What Are the Marks of Those with the Gift of Wisdom?
1. They can intelligently and compassionately apply the Scriptures.
2. They can size up many situations quickly and say, “Here’s what the Bible says about that.”
3. Often they can handle difficult problems which crop up in the Church by quoting a scriptural principle.
4. They can cut through all the talking and show what the real issue is.
5. They can make you think!

. Wisdom is not for the elite few. Wisdom is available to everyone who will seek it. The question is: do you want it? Some do have a much easier time understanding and studying the word. However if we are not in prayer, and not reading the word we will never learn anything and will never gain any wisdom. It is not our Pastor’s job to spoon feed us every day. We need to open the word daily on our own.

TO THE WORK
To the work! To the work! We are servants of God;
Let us follow the path that our Master has trod;
With the balm of His counsel our strength to renew,
Let us do with our might what our hands find to do.
Toiling on, toiling on,
Toiling on, toiling on,
Let us hope and trust,
Let us watch and pray,
And labor till the Master comes.
To the work! To the work! Let the hungry be fed;
To the fountain of life let the weary be led;
In the cross and its banner our glory shall be,
While we herald the tidings, “Salvation is free!”
Toiling on, toiling on,
Toiling on, toiling on,
Let us hope and trust,
Let us watch and pray,
And labor till the Master comes.
To the work! To the work! There is labor for all;
For the kingdom of darkness and error shall fall;
And the love of our Father exalted shall be,
In the loud swelling chorus, “Salvation is free!”
Toiling on, toiling on,
Toiling on, toiling on,
Let us hope and trust,
Let us watch and pray,
And labor till the Master comes.
To the work! To the work! In the strength of the Lord,
And a robe and a crown shall our labor reward,
When the home of the faithful our dwelling shall be,
And we shout with the ransomed, “Salvation is free!”
Toiling on, toiling on,
Toiling on, toiling on,
Let us hope and trust,
Let us watch and pray,
And labor till the Master comes.

SOLDIERS OF CHRIST
Soldiers of Christ, arise, and put your armor on,
Strong in the strength which God supplies through His eternal Son.
Strong in the Lord of hosts, and in His mighty power,
Who in the strength of Jesus trusts is more than conqueror.
Stand then in His great might, with all His strength endued,
But take, to arm you for the fight, the panoply of God;
That, having all things done, and all your conflicts passed,
Ye may o’ercome through Christ alone and stand entire at last.
Stand then against your foes, in close and firm array;
Legions of wily fiends oppose throughout the evil day.
But meet the sons of night, and mock their vain design,
Armed in the arms of heavenly light, of righteousness divine.
Leave no unguarded place, no weakness of the soul,
Take every virtue, every grace, and fortify the whole;
Indissolubly joined, to battle all proceed;
But arm yourselves with all the mind that was in Christ, your Head.
But, above all, lay hold on faith’s victorious shield;
Armed with that adamant and gold, be sure to win the field:
If faith surround your heart, Satan shall be subdued,
Repelled his every fiery dart, and quenched with Jesu’s blood.
Jesus hath died for you! What can His love withstand?
Believe, hold fast your shield, and who shall pluck you from His hand?
Believe that Jesus reigns; all power to Him is giv’n:
Believe, till freed from sin’s remains; believe yourselves to Heav’n.
To keep your armor bright, attend with constant care,
Still walking in your Captain’s sight, and watching unto prayer.
Ready for all alarms, steadfastly set your face,
And always exercise your arms, and use your every grace.
Pray without ceasing, pray, your Captain gives the word;
His summons cheerfully obey and call upon the Lord;
To God your every want in instant prayer display,
Pray always; pray and never faint; pray, without ceasing, pray!
In fellowship alone, to God with faith draw near;
Approach His courts, besiege His throne with all the powers of prayer:
Go to His temple, go, nor from His altar move;
Let every house His worship know, and every heart His love.
To God your spirits dart, your souls in words declare,
Or groan, to Him Who reads the heart, the unutterable prayer:
His mercy now implore, and now show forth His praise,
In shouts, or silent awe, adore His miracles of grace.
Pour out your souls to God, and bow them with your knees,
And spread your hearts and hands abroad, and pray for Zion’s peace;
Your guides and brethren bear for ever on your mind;
Extend the arms of mighty prayer, in grasping all mankind.
From strength to strength go on, wrestle and fight and pray,
Tread all the powers of darkness down and win the well fought day.
Still let the Spirit cry in all His soldiers, “Come!”
Till Christ the Lord descends from high and takes the conquerors home.
Love and Prayers
Cheryl
