End Your Life Well!!!

Saturday Psalm 46 1.jpg

Have A Wonderful and Blessed Day!!! End Well!!!

Make The Most Of Our Days; Nobody knows how long we have here on this earth. Nobody knows for sure when the Lord will come back. The Lord and him alone knows these dates. We can see when we look around the Lord will be back soon we see the signs everywhere; look to Israel, look and compare our world and the days of Noah. We are living in a world where sin is abounding and getting worse daily. What is morally right is considered wrong and foolish, what is morally wrong is right, and no other way but that way.

We are going to look at two men today Paul, and the rich man. Look at the rich man in Luke 12 first: He had so much he needed to build bigger and more to store all he had it kept growing. His concern was him. He was a me, me, me guy although he was all about self he didn’t think off the most important part of himself ETERNITY!!!

His concern was more, more, more, riches, and more riches this is so sad because his riches would burn up and when death came people would run to his stuff and take it and help themselves while he was all alone burning in hell. Where did his selfish pride, riches and no concern for the Lord get him? I am not saying its wrong to have nice things if you put the Lord before them. I am not saying it is wrong to have a celebration or party, if you put the Lord first in your life and not yourself first. It needs to be the Jesus, others, yourself that’s how you get JOY.
Now on the Other hand lets look at the Apostle Paul knew his time was short and yet made the most of His life on earth. His priority was to give to others until his final days. His letters from prison illustrate this Despite knowing he would soon face death, Paul devoted his time and energy to instructing fellow believers and praying for them. While in prison he was all about the Lord. Keep in mind back then prisons were not like today, they were real prisons, not real cots with soft pillows, warm blankets, colored TV, books to learn how to be real Lawyers to defend yourselves, three warm meals daily. Paul was in a prison where prisoners had no rights, they got beat, slept on cold mud floors, chained up.

Paul also recognized the value of time spent encouraging Christians to do everything as if for the Lord. This is important no matter what we are doing. This is for our job we go to daily, for taking care of our children, doing our yard work, having a few friends over, grocery shopping, and yes even driving in traffic sorry I know that is the tough one. Our Father’s work isn’t just for missionaries and pastors; He calls all of us his children to different fields and assignments some teachers, some Pastors (not women), some comforters, some missionaries, pray and ask what he wants of you.

The apostle also knew that the Christian life comes with some struggles we are here in the flesh in a sin-cursed world so anyone telling you need more faith and life will be perfect walk away and pray for them. The word tells us now where life here will be perfect with more faith. And he was realistic about acknowledging his own imperfections, and we need to be realistic but not give up over them. This means to do make the best use of our time while we are here. Not to sit back and watch others and say I can’t do them things I am not as talented as my Brethren. How do you know what you can do unless you get up and try? Get up, try, and have fun. How often do I hear “I don’t want to be a Christian they never have fun” Well I have had more fun and pure fun since being a Christian than ever before. The best part I can laugh, joke, be with true people my family and not wake up in the morning with regrets or worse thinking “What happened last night” wake up and say Thank you Dear Lord for a blessing with my family who love me and take such good care of me. Remember The Lord wants to Bless us, he wants to hear us laugh, see us smile, and he wants to say “Good Job Faithful Servant”. What do you want to Hear? I LOVE YOU!!!!

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty, God in three persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore thee,
casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee, which wert, and art,
and evermore shalt be. Holy, holy, holy!
Though the darkness hide thee, though the eye of sinful man
thy glory may not see, only thou art holy;
there is none beside thee, perfect in power, in love and purity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All thy works shall praise thy name, in earth and sky and sea.
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty, God in three persons, blessed Trinity.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me, Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,
As in Thy presence humbly I bow.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me, I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Hold o’er my being absolute sway!
Fill with Thy Spirit ’till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me.
