Heaven It Will Be Beyond Amazing!!!

Merry Christmas and God bless.jpg

Have a Wonderful and Blessed Week!!! Why is Heaven Special!!!

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Of course, there are many beautiful places on God’s green earth, none could compare to the marvelous wonder and beauty of heaven. Even so, the main attraction of heaven for the Christian is not the place but the people. The main Person Who draws us home- ward and heavenward is Jesus Christ. In heaven we shall see Him face to face. Just as our roots sometimes tug at us, drawing us back to the places and people of our origins, so does our heart draw us to that land that will be far more beautiful than the most beautiful place here on earth!!
By faith we can see it afar. It is a real place. It is not, as some may say, just a fantasy that someone made up long agp; heaven is a real and most beautiful place, the best part is our Precious Lord and savior is there. It is the ultimate dwelling place of God with His people. I am convinced that heaven is not only a real place, but a very beautiful and Special place. Let us look at what the scriptures say make heaven SPECIAL!

We can know heaven is a real place because our Saviour tells us He has gone there to prepare a place for His particular, peculiar and prepared people. The reality of heaven and hell are foundation principles of the faith once delivered to the saints.
Paul tells us that we should comfort each other by assuring each other of the reality of the resurrection and the promise of our Saviour to return from heaven to receive us and carry us home with Him. He TELLS us of the events relative to this promise, the blessed hope. The reality of heaven is the over arching eventuality that has consoled and comforted the people of God through twenty centuries of terrible trials and perplexing persecution. I believe God gives us the true story of the first martyr of record, Stephan, catching a glimpse of our Saviour standing at the right hand of God in heaven on the day he laid down his life for the Lord, in order to encourage us with the reality of our passage to those beautiful eternal shores when the day of this life is over. As the light of his earthly life dimmed, Stephan was overwhelmed by the glorious Light of the Son of God shining there in that everlasting home reserved for His prepared (the saved) people.

I believe Christians should be cautious about sharing myths and fairy tales with their children to make sure they don’t view God and heaven as imaginary. It is not just an emphasis on witchcraft and the occult that makes the Harry Potter phenomenon presently sweeping our world questionable to the concerned Christian. The over promotion and popularization of such fantasy concepts is not necessarily an innocent childish thing. Perhaps those of us reared in a culture that accepted certain mythological figures associated with particular reli- gious holidays as being harmless fantasies, have not given enough thought to the matter or considered how this might effect their acceptance of the reality of a God they cannot hear, see or touch or the reality of heaven, a place they cannot conceive or experience on this earth? I do believe that our enemy Satan has had his hand in devising these fantasies in this world to confuse people of reality and truth. Like the many movies, video games that are all fantasy they cause much unbelief!! It teaches the young and the old that everything is fantasy!!

But the infinite and indescribable nature of heaven does not make it any less real. I am convinced that when God’s prepared people are taken up in a blink of an eye to go to our permanent dwelling place Heaven. The sad part of all the lies, fantasies being so popular, and everywhere the enemy will have no trouble explaining why thousands have disappeared in an instant. This will be like any other lie he (the enemy, Satan) has spoken and people will not give it a second thought. To many it will be like a video game where the bad guy just kidnapped thousands of people. Another reason why all the wickedness, the white and black magic, the “I came from an animal so what have I got to lose” is so dangerous becuase people the lost will believe in a lie before the truth.
1Corinthians 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
1Corinthians 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
1Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
1Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Corinthians 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

We are sometimes amazed by the architectural wonders of ancient civilizations. Imagine the amazement of our forefathers if they could see the wonders of modern cities. But consider a place designed and built by the Architect of this vast universe for the eternal comfort and happiness of His beloved eternal sons and daughters. Paul, who had been caught up into heaven to commune with the Son of God, gave us just an inkling of the idea when he said,

2Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2Corinthians 5:2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
Seeing the beauty of the Grand Canyon, feeling the awesome power of Niagra Falls and viewing the grandeur of the Snowy Mountains, people are in awe of these things. However how much more beautiful will Heaven the dwelling place of our Savior, the King of kings and Lord of lords will be over all of the “Most Beautiul” places here on earth.
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Imagine a place that multiples infinitely the beauty of this earth. And just imagine a place completely free of the effects of sin. There will be no pollution brought about by man’s destructive nature. A pure and pristine environment will surely prevail. A place without sin and sin’s effects. A place where all the sorrows and sadness of earth are even beyond the reach of memory and beneath the nature of a mind like Christ. (Rev. 21:3-4)

HEAVEN IS SPECIAL BECAUSE OF THE LOVE, UNITY AND HARMONY OF ITS INHABITANTS. Imagine a place where all will be equally rich, happy and content. Imagine a place where all will be busy praising our Lord’s sweet name together, without any lectures on “You can’t pray or read the bible here”, without the threat of arrest or death in many places (not really in America) , yet blissfully at peace and rest. Imagine a place where wars and rumors of war will be no more. Imagine a place where there will be no need for being careful not to offend, we will all be like-minded AMEN AND AMEN. Imagine a place where man’s cruelty to man will cease forever more. Imagine a place where no friend will betray you. Imagine a place where no one can hurt or harm you. Imagine a place where no fear can be felt. Imagine a place where no terrorist can threaten you. Imagine a place where no locks are needed and doors can always be open. Imagine a place where no walls or fences will separate you. Imagine a place where no hate nor ill will can destroy you. Imagine a place that everyone will love and cherish the presence of all those who walk together hand in hand.

HEAVEN IS SPECIAL BECAUSE THOSE THERE CARE ABOUT THIS WORLD. The King of Heaven cared enough for earth that He came and died for our sins. “‘But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Hebrews 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Then they will fully understand the burden Jeremiah had for Jerusalem;
Jeremiah 9:1 Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
Jeremiah 9:2 Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.
Jeremiah 9:3 And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 9:4 Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.
Jeremiah 9:5 And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.
Jeremiah 9:6 Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.
Paul had for his people;
Romans 9:1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
Romans 9:2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
Romans 9:3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
Saviour had for the souls of men;
Matthew 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Matthew 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
Matthew 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

As children of God, the Father, saved by the blood of Jesus we need to have the same heart for the lost. We need to reach out to all men, women, children, enemy!! I get so sad when people don’t want to hear the greatest news, gift ever given. The thought of any no matter how wicked they are (we are all wicked) I never have the desire for any to die without jesus and going to hell for all eternity.

Many of us on earth have experienced the joy of seeing friends and loved ones for whom we have prayed come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. Some of us have been present at great revival meetings; witnessing a great harvest of souls and knowing the joy indescribable that gripped the hearts of those present. But a new heavenly insight will be a source of great joy and fulfillment in that heavenly city. Imagine the special joy among the inhabitants of heaven when a message wings it way there, announcing the salvation of another precious soul. “Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” (Luke 15:10)

HEAVEN IS SPECIAL BECAUSE OF THOSE WHO GO THERE. God wants us to know about heaven. He wants us to go there. He wants us to enjoy it forever. Peter tells that: “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (II. Pet. 3:9) But even though this is the case, God has prepared a place for a particular and peculiar people. A people after His own heart.

There will be no Christ rejecters or blasphemers in heaven. There will be no one there to laugh and make fun of God’s simple folk. There will no one there to call us Bible Bashers or those mocking Jesus. We will not hear the taunting cry of the atheist, agnostic or arrogant intellectual. There will be no violent sinners to spoil the celebration of God’s people as they praise and worship the Lamb of God.

Even the children are mocked for belief. I have a few examples will give you one. Two young sisters go to a Christian school. They have to ride on a public school bus to get there. They were talking to some little children and the bus driver overheard them. They were scolded, and told you are not allowed to speak of them things on my bus. She was very hostile towards these little girls. These heartbroken little girls go to my church and they have such beautiful hearts for the lost and for others. Now of course the kids with IPads listening to wicked music she said nothing to them. The kids swaring at the cars next to the bus, she said nothing to them, however two little girls quietly witnessing she became aggitated, and was not going to allow jesus and his greatest gift ever given on “HER” bus!!!

Heaven is our ultimate home. No matter where we are from or where we live and the homes that he has given to us Heaven is truly our home. The place where the family of God will fellowship with the eternal Father and His Son forever. When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! I am sure when we arrive on that eternal shore we will echo the words of the old song, “Home At Last!”

HEAVEN IS A SPECIAL PLACE BECAUSE OF THE ONE WHO IS THERE. Our Saviour said, “… And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.” We do not know all about heaven and its astronomical location, but we do know that the main attraction in that fair land will be the Eternal Lamb of God.

HEAVEN IS SPECIAL BECAUSE OF THE CONDITIONS OF ENTRANCE. Heaven is a place where everyone is welcome. The Bible says, ” Whosoever will, let him come. . .” It is a place where the noble and the nobody, the robber and the religious, can gain entry. Jesus said to Nicodemus the noble and rich man, “Ye must be born again..” Jesus said to the repentant thief, “Today shalt thou be with me in paradise..” Jesus said to the poor, blind, lame and halt, “Thy faith has made thee whole..”

The conditions of entry to this great place is the same for all. The religious world says, “Live a good life, pay your debts, be baptized, be religious..” But God says, “There is only one way. Repent of your sins, trust the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour and be saved by grace through faith. No one can get to heaven any other Way.”
It’s what inside that really counts.

God is concerned with what is inside us. He tells us that man’s heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. We have spiritual heart disease. He has Paul to give us the cure with these simple words: “But what saith it?
Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

During this season of Christmas some are more willing to hear of salvation, the true reason of why Christ went to the cross, and of the things of heaven. We need to be faithfully giving the gospel to the world.

Some glad morning when this life is o’er,
I’ll fly away;
To a home on God’s celestial shore,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).
I’ll fly away, Oh Glory
I’ll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).

When the shadows of this life have gone,
I’ll fly away;
Like a bird from prison bars has flown,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)
I’ll fly away, Oh Glory
I’ll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).
I’ll fly away, Oh Glory
I’ll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).
Just a few more weary days and then,
I’ll fly away;
To a land where joy shall never end,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)
